  • Patent number: 7224405
Abstract: A horizontal contour correction circuit for correcting a horizontal contour of a video signal to output as a corrected signal, comprising: a delay circuit for outputting video signal values of a video signal at at least three different times either before or after a reference time, the video signal containing video signal values being input in a time serial manner; a plurality of selection circuits each for combining video signal values selected in advance from a group of video signal values output from the delay circuit, and selecting one video signal value from each combination of the video signal values to output; and a switch circuit for selecting one video signal value from among the video signal values output from the plurality of selection circuits. The video signal values before and after the reference time are respectively subtracted from a video signal value at the reference time, whereby horizontal contour of a video signal is corrected.

  • Patent number: 7195357
Abstract: Distortion of an image that is projected to a screen is suppressed by an image processing apparatus including a vertical reduction section for performing reduction and correction in the vertical direction with respect to image data of the projected image and a horizontal reduction section for performing reduction and correction in the horizontal direction with respect to image data on which reduction and correction were performed in the vertical reduction section.

  • Publication number: 20050162620
Abstract: An image processing apparatus used in a projection display device which displays an image formed on an image forming section by projecting it on a screen, for correcting the original image in order to correct a trapezoid distortion produced when the image is projected obliquely on the screen and forming the image to be formed on the image forming section, comprising a trapezoid correction section for correcting the trapezoid distortion by reducing the original image by pixel interpolation for producing one pixel from plural pixels; and an outline correction section for performing an edge emphasis processing on the distortion corrected image obtained by the trapezoid correction section.

  • Patent number: 4449447
Abstract: This invention relate to an improvement of the resinous brake piston of disk type, particularly the synthetic thermosetting resin piston of disk type whose opening end is thermally reinforced by simultaneous casting of the heat-resistant material, so as to prevent the crack in the opening end of the piston even when it comes into direct contact with the back metal of the friction pad of high temperature in the disk brake.
