  • Publication number: 20120002129
Abstract: The present invention provides an electronic device comprising a liquid crystal display panel, which even when thickness of an exterior member serving as an exterior of a liquid crystal display panel, and particularly thickness of a front bezel is reduced, can suppress deformation such as twist and deflection of a liquid crystal cell by a simple structure and has a good assembling workability. Fitting lock portions having a substantially T shape are provided at the upper and lower portions of a middle frame, and a front bezel has cut-out portions in which the fitting lock portions are inserted and fitted. The fitting lock portions of the middle frame are inserted and fitted in the cut-out portions of the front bezel, whereby the substantially T-shaped fitting lock portions increase the strength of the front bezel, and the deformation such as twist and deflection of a liquid crystal cell can be suppressed.

  • Publication number: 20100080089
Abstract: In a recording/reproducing apparatus, a pair of detection sliders, in which pins coming into contact with an outer peripheral edge of a storage medium being inserted are formed and which approach and are separated from each other, are disposed in the vicinity of a storage medium insert port, and a detection lever coupled with one of the pins is rotatably and slidably attached to a frame. Further, the recording/reproducing apparatus has a support member, which is slid by being pressed by the outer peripheral edge of the storage medium being inserted, and an intermediate guide lever rotated in association with a sliding operation of the support member. Two select grooves are formed in the detection lever, and a first projecting piece, which is selectively fit into the select grooves, is disposed in the intermediate guide lever.

  • Publication number: 20100083292
Abstract: In a storage medium carrying mechanism of a storage medium reproducing apparatus, a pressing member paired with a carrying roller is swingably attached, the pressing member forms a shut-off portion in a front side, shafts extend externally from both ends of the pressing member, and arms extend downward in the vicinities of both the ends. An urging means is interposed between the pressing member and a frame to press a large-diameter storage medium inserted from a storage medium insert port to a carrying roller side by the pressing member at all times while a pressing means is disposed to press both the arms against an urging force of the urging means and swings the pressing member through both the arms so that the storage medium insert port is temporarily closed.

  • Patent number: 7210149
Abstract: Disclosed is a disc insertion preventive device comprising a housing having a disc slot made on its front side, a generally stopper and a swinging mechanism. The stopper comprises a flat plate and front and rear blocking pieces dependent from the opposite lateral edges of the flat plate. The stopper is pivotally fixed to the housing with the front blocking piece directed toward the disc slot of the housing. The swinging mechanism is responsive to absence of a disc in the housing for inclining the stopper with the rear blocking piece down and with the front blocking piece up, thus preventing advance of a disc beyond the descendent rear blocking piece, and is responsive to presence of a disc in the housing for inclining the stopper with the rear blocking piece up and with the front blocking piece down, thus preventing insertion of another disc from the disc slot.

  • Publication number: 20060117327
Abstract: To make it possible to downsize a device by reducing an occupied space on a chassis occupied by a holding mechanism of a guide shaft as much as possible. A support part 10 is constructed by integrally molding guide walls 12A, 12B which restrict movement of a guide shaft 4 in a radial direction, a stopper part 13 which restricts movement of the guide shaft in a thrust direction and a hook part 14 which restricts slipping-off of the guide shaft 4. A coil spring 21 is provided at a position opposed to the hook part 14 disposed between the guide walls 12A and 12B and the stopper part 13. Thereby, the holding mechanism 25 of the guide shaft 4 including the support part 10 and the coil spring 21 is organized to be compact, and the occupied space of the holding mechanism 25 in a chassis 1 is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20050223396
Abstract: Since the gate construction in a disk device having slot-in format is a single layer of felt in which a single article slit is formed, but the disk maintenance force is weak, and variable. The objective is to provide, on the gate 2 of the disk device 3, a 1st elastic felt 6 on which is formed a single article slit 4 and multiple intersecting slits 5, and a 2nd felt 7 which is fixedly adhered to the rear surface of the 1st felt 6, the elasticity of which is weaker than that of the 1st felt 6. A surface sheet 9 on which is formed a disk transmitting aperture 8 may be also fixedly adhered to the front surface of the 1st felt 6. In order to adjust the hardness by weakening the elasticity of the 2nd felt 7, on the 2nd felt 7, a greater number of intersecting slits 5 may be formed than are existence on the 1st felt 6. In addition, multiple cutouts 10 may also be formed on the single article slit 4 of the 2nd felt 7.

  • Publication number: 20040268377
Abstract: It is an object of the invention to provide a clamping mechanism of a disc unit capable of sufficiently securing a moving distance of a clamper while reducing parts count compared with a conventional clamping mechanism and of rendering the disc unit low-profile. A cap made of a steed plate is engaged in a turntable 4 and a magnet which is magnetized at a bottom face of the turntable at a turntable side is engaged in the clamper. The clamper is freely engaged in an opening of a support member, and it is held by the support member in a state where the magnetized bottom face of the magnet is attracted to the support member to float. When the turntable rises, the cap approaches the magnet so that they attract each other, thereby setting the clamper on the turntable.

  • Patent number: 6791787
Abstract: Disclosed is an improvement in a tape guide device having an inclined post and a guide roll rising upright on its base for guiding and directing a length of recording tape to the rotary drum on the deck of a video recorder. The base is made of a synthetic resin material, and has an axle hole made therein for press-fitting the axle of the guide roll. The upper end of the axle hole is tapped, and the axle hole has at least one rib projecting inward from its inner circumference. The axle is threadedly engaged with the upper end of the axle hole, and is press-fitted in the axle hole with the rib or ribs pressed and slightly deformed. Thus, the axle can be positively held in the axle hole of the base, preventing the guide roll to shake in the axle hole, still permitting adjustment of the height of the guide roll. Thanks to such ribs the tight insertion of the axle in the axle hole is assured without the necessity of machining or molding with high precision.

  • Publication number: 20040103731
Abstract: To provide a backlash-free rack simple in structure and small in size, still assuring that no backlash is caused in reciprocating a movable part in an electronic device toy, or watch et al, the rack structure comprises first and second toothed bars both integrally connected to each other by an intermediate joint made of a soft resin material to provide a linear toothed bar object. The linear toothed bar object is so folded about the intermediate joint that the first and second toothed bars are somewhat staggered and laid on each other with their teeth out of phase, thereby preventing the backlash which otherwise, would be caused between the teeth of the rack and those of the pinion.

  • Publication number: 20030156348
Abstract: Disclosed is an improvement in a tape pulling-out member which can move in a guide slot made in the deck of a magnetic recording-and-reproducing apparatus, thereby pulling a length of recording tape out of the winding or unwinding reel of a tape cassette. The tape pulling-out member comprises a base, an inclined post and a guide roll both rising upright on the base for guiding and directing the length of recording tape fed from the winding or unwinding reel to the rotary drum on the deck of the magnetic recording-and-reproducing apparatus, and a nose formed on the forward end of the base. The nose is so convergent or iron-like in shape that it may be put in linear contact with the opposite sides of the V-shaped end of the guide slot. Thus, the contact area is substantially increased, and accordingly the pressure per unit area of the nose is decreased.
