Patent number: 6587161Abstract: A pixel substrate has a plurality of scanning lines and a plurality of reference signal lines which are arranged parallel with each other. A counter substrate includes a plurality of signal lines. Moreover, the pixel substrate has a connecting line for connecting the plurality of the reference signal lines to each other. The connecting line is provided in each of two regions outside of two sides among the peripheral sides of a region where a plurality of pixel electrodes are formed, the two sides being perpendicular to the reference signal lines. In this structure, a reference signal is input from both ends of the reference signal line. It is therefore possible to provide a liquid crystal display device which reduces the occurrence of a short circuit between the lines on the substrate and decreases the signal delay due to the load capacitance.Type: GrantFiled: April 23, 1999Date of Patent: July 1, 2003Assignee: Sharp Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Tomohiko Yamamoto, Keiichi Tanaka, Naoto Inoue, Kouji Fujiwara, Yasunobu Tagusa

Patent number: 6433765Abstract: A liquid crystal display in which a reference signal main line, placed so as to connect reference signal lines to each other, is separated into an input main line and an output main line in an insulating state from each other. Then, a voltage application line from a voltage-application circuit for controlling the voltage of a reference signal is connected to the input main line and a voltage feedback line therefrom is connected to the output main line. Thus, it becomes possible to accurately detect minute voltage variations within a reference signal circuit and compensate for them.Type: GrantFiled: May 30, 2000Date of Patent: August 13, 2002Assignee: Sharp Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Kouji Fujiwara, Tomohiko Yamamoto, Keiichi Tanaka, Naoto Inoue, Hideki Ichioka, Hisao Okada

Patent number: 6404477Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an active matrix type liquid crystal display apparatus, capable of being upsized and having enhanced resolution at low cost without being degraded in display quality. In the liquid crystal display apparatus, on a pixel substrate, scanning lines and reference signal lines are formed in a row direction, and on a counter substrate, gradation signal lines are formed in a column direction. A liquid crystal layer is sandwiched between the pixel substrate and the counter substrate. Outside an image display region, a reference signal transfer pad is disposed on the counter substrate opposite to a main reference signal line for connecting end portions of reference signal lines. The reference signal transfer pad and the main reference signal line are electrically connected by conductive material.Type: GrantFiled: April 28, 2000Date of Patent: June 11, 2002Assignee: Sharp Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Kouji Fujiwara, Tomohiko Yamamoto, Keiichi Tanaka, Naoto Inoue, Hideki Ichioka

Patent number: 4729713Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for holding an electronic part including a rod coupled to a part-absorbing nozzle at one end thereof and coupled to a vacuum device at the other end portion thereof, the rod being axially movable. Also included is a sleeve member movable along the axis of the rod in response to the movement thereof. A pair of chucking jaws for chucking the electronic part are coupled through a transmission mechanism to the sleeve member. The transmission mechanism comprises a pair of curved levers each providing a connection between the chucking jaws and the sleeve member and a pair of guide members which are respectively engaged with the pair of chucking jaws and radially extend at right angles to the axis of the rod, and is arranged to allow the pair of chucking jaws to be moved at right angles to the axis of the rod member in opposite directions to each other in response to the movement of the sleeve member.Type: GrantFiled: May 28, 1986Date of Patent: March 8, 1988Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventors: Susumu Takaichi, Kouji Fujiwara, Masato Tanino, Tsutomu Inukai

Patent number: 4671376Abstract: An automatic differential locking system for a working vehicle having steerable front and rear wheels, which includes a selector for selecting a steering mode of the vehicle, an actuator for operating a differential locking mechanism, and a gate for sending a control signal to the actuator in response to a signal received from the selector. The gate is adapted to send a differential locking signal to the actuator upon receipt of a parallel steering mode signal from the selector. In response to the differential locking signal the actuator actuates the differential locking mechanism. Since differential revolutions of the wheels are limited at times of parallel steering, the vehicle is capable of accurate course revisions and alterations without slipping.Type: GrantFiled: September 13, 1985Date of Patent: June 9, 1987Assignee: Kubota, Ltd.Inventors: Katsumi Ito, Shigeaki Okuyama, Norimi Nakamura, Yoshizo Kuroiwa, Kouji Fujiwara, Kunisuke Nakamura, Osami Fujiwara, Jituo Yoshida, Mitsugu Kobayashi
