  • Patent number: 7315804
Abstract: A car engineering assist system and method establish a master data and set a computer-generated virtual car model to represent at least a portion of a product design specification (PDS) of a test car. A real time simulator performs computer simulation of a test module using the car model, which has been set to represent at least the portion of the PDS of the test car, to produce a simulation result. A logic unit performs conformity assessment of the test module based on the simulation result and the master data.

  • Patent number: 7168159
Abstract: In a wire termination apparatus, an anvil for placing a terminal thereon is mounted on a base plate, corresponding in position to a crimper of a ram. The terminal is crimped by a crimping portion, which includes the crimper and the anvil. An elongate link piece is mounted on the ram, and a guide member having a groove in which an elongate component, such as a fluorescent tube, is placed, is mounted on the tip of the link piece. The guide member is positioned to be aligned with the terminal placed on the anvil, when the ram is in its uppermost position. A conductive lead of the component and a conductor of an insulated wire are inserted into the terminal from directions perpendicular to each other, then the terminal is crimped by the crimper.

  • Publication number: 20050034505
Abstract: The present invention provides a crimping device that facilitates an adjustment operation and has a reduced height. A crimping device has a crimp height adjustment mechanism for a core of a wire onto which a terminal is to be crimped and a crimp height adjustment mechanism for an insulating coating of the wire, the mechanisms having respective adjustment dials, and the front of the crimping device facing in the opposite direction of the core. In the adjustment mechanisms, the adjustment dials thereof are disposed on the same axis so that the crimping device can have a reduced height compared with conventional crimping devices in which the adjustment mechanisms are disposed at positions different in the vertical direction.

  • Patent number: 5723928
Abstract: An induction motor capable of producing an increased torque has a stator for generating a rotating magnetic field, a stator fixed to a shaft, a cylindrical member disposed within an inner space defined by the rotor and rotatably supported by the shaft, and magnets attached to the circumference of the rotor such that the magnets face the rotating magnetic field. The induction motor may be provided with a mechanism for adjusting the effective magnetic force of the magnets. The magnets may be permanent magnets or electromagnets. Also, a synchronizing mechanism may be provided to prevent the cylindrical member from lagging behind the rotor. A linear induction motor includes a straight primary coil assembly and a straight secondary coil assembly. One of the primary coil assembly and the secondary coil assembly is movable relative to the other. Also, a plurality of magnets are disposed in the secondary coil assembly.
