  • Patent number: 8469616
Abstract: A printing device has a print head, a platen roller, a main body frame supporting one of the print head and the platen roller, and a main body unit incorporating the main body frame. A sheet cutting device includes a first blade undergoing sliding movement relative to a second blade in a direction substantially orthogonal to a sheet material to be cut. A first frame slidably supports the first blade and undergoes movement in a direction orthogonal to a sliding direction of the first blade from a first position at which the first blade frame is incorporated to the main body frame to a second position at which the first blade frame is separated from the main body frame. A second frame supports the second blade and undergoes movement in the sliding direction of the first blade from a first position at which the second blade frame is mounted to the main body unit to a second position at which the second blade frame is detached from the main body unit.

  • Patent number: 8277134
Abstract: A printer with a cutter has a print head, a a platen roller, a fixed blade, and a movable blade that slides toward the fixed blade for cutting a printed recording sheet. A fixed blade holder has a first surface supporting the fixed blade thereon and a second surface curved along an outer periphery of the platen roller with a first gap therebetween for guiding the recording sheet toward a downstream side of the fixed blade holder when the recording sheet enters the first gap. A holder support pivotally supports the fixed blade holder and has a surface opposed to the outer periphery of the platen roller with a second gap therebetween for guiding the recording sheet to allow the recording sheet to be wound around the outer periphery of the platen roller when the recording sheet is guided by the second surface of the fixed blade holder.

  • Publication number: 20120212807
Abstract: An infrared lens has three lens groups put in serial order from a position closer to an object, namely, the foremost or first group of lens pieces of positive refractivity, the succeeding or second group of lens pieces of negative refractivity, and the rearmost or third group of lens pieces of positive refractivity, and a substance of the second group of lens pieces having greater dispersive power than that or those of the first and third groups of lens pieces. The infrared lens assuredly retains sufficient brightness, namely, having an appropriate numerical aperture, but yet no longer suffers chromatic aberration for rays in a wavelength range of 10 ?m or so in addition to fully correcting spherical aberration, comatic aberration, and curvature of field, thereby attaining clear and vivid focused images.

  • Publication number: 20120212808
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an infrared lens that ensures sufficient quantity of light incident on light receiving elements so as to produce a clear infrared picture. The infrared lens comprises a first or leading lens unit of positive refractivity closer to an object, and a trailing lens unit. The trailing lens unit consists of at least a second group of lens pieces located closer to an imaging plane than the first lens unit, and a third group of lens pieces located closer to the imaging plane than the second group of lens pieces. The trailing lens unit is displaced in any direction perpendicular to the optical axis for compensating for image vibration.

Abstract: A plurality of first oil passageways are recessed in an annular projected portion of a bearing cup of a cross shaft joint, each first oil passageway communicating with inner and outer periphery sides, and being increasing in groove width gradually from the outer periphery side toward the inner periphery side. A plurality of second oil passageways are recessed in the annular projected portion, and each second oil passageway is disposed between the first oil passageways, and communicates with the inner and outer periphery sides, and is decreasing in groove width gradually from the outer periphery side toward the inner periphery side. When the bearing cup is angularly moved relative to a cross shaft, grease in the first oil passageways is flowed from the outer periphery side of the annular projected portion to the inner periphery side thereof, while grease in the second oil passageways is flowed from the inner periphery side of the annular projected portion toward the inner periphery side.

  • Publication number: 20100143018
Abstract: Provided is a printer with a cutter, which can easily restore, even when there arises a problem that a movable blade is stopped during sliding due to paper jam or the like, the movable blade to a state before the problem arises, reliably perform positioning between a movable blade frame and a detachable unit, and improve printing accuracy and cutting accuracy. A detachable unit (4) turns in a sliding direction of a movable blade (32) from a mounted position to a dismounted position. Meanwhile, a movable blade frame (33) turns in a direction orthogonal to the sliding direction of the movable blade (32) from a home position to a separated position. Thus, the both blades (32 and 11) retreat in directions orthogonal to each other, respectively.
