Patent number: 7896693Abstract: A retaining member includes at least a leg portion having a latch portion, a coupling portion and a spring portion. When the spring portion is displaced, the coupling portion is twisted. Then, the latch portion and the coupling portion are inserted into the opening so that an electric component is retained on a main face of the substrate. In this state, a part of the latch portion is disposed at the periphery of the opening on a rear face of the substrate, a part of the coupling portion is disposed in the opening, and the spring portion is disposed on the main face of the substrate. Therefore, the retaining strength of the electric component to the substrate can be improved, and damage of a side wall of the opening can be decreased.Type: GrantFiled: January 15, 2009Date of Patent: March 1, 2011Assignee: Denso CorporationInventors: Mitsuaki Kondo, Takayoshi Honda, Kouji Oonishi

Patent number: 7550878Abstract: A circuit for preventing corrosion of a contact, includes an input terminal, a signal line, a switch, an impedance element, and a comparator. The input terminal is to be connected to the contact, which is outside the circuit. The signal line is connected to the input terminal. The switch is connected to the signal line. The impedance element is connected to the signal line in parallel to the switch. An impedance of the switching section is smaller than that of the impedance element. The comparator compares a potential of the signal line with a predetermined potential. The switch is turned on based on a comparison result output from the comparator.Type: GrantFiled: March 1, 2005Date of Patent: June 23, 2009Assignee: Fujitsu Ten LimitedInventors: Kazuhiro Komatsu, Masahiko Fujimoto, Kouji Oonishi, Keisuke Kido, Junichi Sawada

Patent number: 7486088Abstract: An apparatus for preventing corrosion of a contact includes a detection conducting path connected to the contact, a variable impedance unit and a comparing and switching unit. The variable impedance unit is connected to the detection conducting path. The variable impedance unit is switchable between (i) a first impedance used for passing a corrosion prevention current into the detection conducting path and (ii) a second impedance through used for passing a current, which is used for detecting a connection state of the contact, into the detection conducting path. The first impedance is lower than the second impedance. The comparing and switching unit compares a detected value with a corrosion threshold, compares the detected value with a restoration threshold and switches the variable impedance unit based on comparing results.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 2006Date of Patent: February 3, 2009Assignee: Fujitsu Ten LimitedInventors: Kazuhiro Komatsu, Tomohide Kasame, Kouji Oonishi

Patent number: 7410563Abstract: A method for preventing corrosion of a contact, includes comparing a potential of a signal line connected to the contact with a predetermined potential corresponding to the corrosion of the contact; flowing a corrosion-prevention current into the contact when a result of the comparing shows that the contact is corroded; inputting into the signal line a signal used for judging a logical value of a connection state of the contact; and in the magnitude relation, setting the predetermined potential on another side of a threshold level used in the judging of the logical value of the connection state of the contact.Type: GrantFiled: March 1, 2005Date of Patent: August 12, 2008Assignee: Fujitsu Ten LimitedInventors: Kazuhiro Komatsu, Masahiko Fujimoto, Kouji Oonishi, Keisuke Kido, Junichi Sawada

Patent number: 7362011Abstract: An apparatus for preventing a contact from being corroded includes a power source, a signal line connected to the contact, a resistance connected to the signal line, a switching section, a comparator, and an overheat detecting section. The switching section has a switch between the power source and the signal line. An impedance of the switch is smaller than that of the resistance when the switch is turned on. The comparator compares a potential of the signal line with a predetermined potential to determine as to whether or not the contact is corroded. The comparator outputs a driving signal when the comparator concludes that the contact is corroded. The overheat detecting section detects whether or not temperature of the apparatus exceeds a predetermined temperature. The overheat detecting section decreases current flowing through the switching section when the temperature of the apparatus exceeds the predetermined temperature.Type: GrantFiled: March 1, 2005Date of Patent: April 22, 2008Assignee: Fujitsu Ten LimitedInventors: Kazuhiro Komatsu, Masahiko Fujimoto, Kouji Oonishi, Keisuke Kido, Junichi Sawada
