  • Patent number: 10612651
Abstract: In a vehicle equipped with a torque converter 4 having a lock-up clutch (3), learning control for obtaining a learning value (L_n) on the basis of meet-point information, with which the lock-up clutch (3) initiates torque transmission, is carried out. When the lock-up clutch (3) experiences a transition to an engaged state during travel, a meet-point learning control unit (12c) calculates an LU transmission torque estimate on the basis of the difference between the engine torque (engine torque signal value Te) and the torque converter transmission torque (?·Ne2). Excess clutch capacity is detected when the LU transmission torque estimate is greater than an excess capacity determination transmission torque threshold within a prescribed amount of time after an initial pressure (P_n) based on the learning value (L_n) is instructed. When excess clutch capacity is detected, a learning value correction that reduces the learning value (L_n) is carried out.

  • Patent number: 10371256
Abstract: In a vehicle on which a torque converter having a lock-up clutch is mounted between an engine and a transmission, a meet point learning controller is provided to perform learning control for obtaining a learning value based on information on a meet point at which the lock-up clutch starts torque transmission. The meet point learning controller estimates a LU transmission torque based on a difference between an engine torque signal value and a torque converter transmission torque when the lock-up clutch moves from a non-engaged state to an engaged state during traveling of the vehicle, and uses, as the meet point information, a meet point detection pressure at a time when the LU transmission torque estimated value is determined to have entered an upward trend.

  • Publication number: 20150227419
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an error correction decoder includes a selecting section, calculating section, check section, and updating section. The selecting section selects data used for matrix processing applied to a process target row from LLR data stored in the first memory section based on a check matrix, and stores the data in a second memory section. The calculating section executes the matrix processing based on the data stored in the second memory section, and writes updated data back to the second memory section. The check section checks a parity based on a calculating result of the calculating section. The updating section updates the LLR data of the first memory section based on the updated data of the second memory section.

  • Patent number: 7769517
Abstract: A lock-up clutch control apparatus for controlling a lock-up clutch (6) provided in a torque converter (5) installed between an engine (3) and a transmission (4), is disclosed. The lock-up clutch control apparatus has a differential pressure generator (7,8) which engages, causes a slip of or disengages the lock-up clutch by adjusting the differential pressure supplied to the lock-up clutch (6); a sensor (11/15) for detecting a rotational speed of the engine; a sensor (16) for detecting an input rotational speed to the transmission; and a controller (1). The controller (1) conducts proportional integration control by using a command signal to the differential pressure generator (7,8), so that an actual slip rotational speed, which is the difference between the engine rotational speed (Np) and input rotational speed (Ni) to the transmission, becomes a target slip rotational speed (Nt).

  • Patent number: 7385580
Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal display panel, a row electrode drive circuit (scanning signal line drive circuit), a column electrode drive circuit (source signal line drive circuit), a power supply circuit, a common electrode drive circuit, and a memory (storage means). The memory stores the respective optimum applied voltages for the source electrode corresponding to display modes of the liquid crystal display device, a reflective mode and a transmissive mode. With the above arrangement, in the case where the display mode is switched among a plurality of display modes, the above active matrix display device can reset an optimum applied voltage for a common electrode or a source electrode in accordance with each of the display modes to suppress the occurrence of flickers, thus allowing the display device to maintain a high quality of display all the time.
