  • Patent number: 9404293
Abstract: This door handle device is provided with: a handle base; an introduction opening that is opened in a door handle and that supports the handle base; an operation handle that is connected to the handle base; and a gasket that is disposed between the handle base and the operation handle. A handle stopper, of which one end passes through the introduction aperture and is borne by the handle base, and of which the other end contacts the operation handle, is integrally provided to the gasket.

  • Patent number: 5286048
Abstract: A rear suspension system for supporting dirigible rear wheels of a vehicle consists of left and right rear suspensions each of which includes first and second links which are connected for rotation to the rear wheel support in different positions at their outer ends and to the vehicle body in different positions at their inner ends and a damper which is connected to the vehicle body at its upper end and to the first links at its lower end. The dampers of the left and right rear suspensions are inclined to the corresponding first links so that they transmits force to the first links to generate moments about instantaneous centers of turn of the respective rear wheel supports. The moments are substantially equal to each other and are directed in opposite directions when the rear wheels are held in the straight ahead position.

  • Patent number: 5080185
Abstract: A rear suspension system for a four-wheel-steered vehicle has a wheel support which supports a rear wheel for rotation and is connected to a rear wheel turning rod of the rear wheel turning mechanism. A pair of suspension arms are connected to the wheel support and guide the wheel support so that the rear wheel on the wheel support is turned about a kingpin axis in response to displacement of the rear wheel turning rod member. One of the suspension arms includes a so-called I-shaped arm which is connected for rotation to the wheel support at one end and to the vehicle body at the other end, and the kingpin axis intersects the tread of the rear wheel at a point which is offset in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body from the point at which a side force acts on the rear wheel during cornering. A damping system is connected between the I-shaped arm and the vehicle body.

  • Patent number: 4817986
Abstract: The present invention relates to a suspension system in a vehicle body assembly which is used in common for a four-wheel-steering vehicle and a two-wheel-steering vehicle. In the present invention, a front suspension system installed in a four-wheel-steering vehicle is set to have a higher lateral rigidity than when installed in a two-wheel-steering vehicle, so that the front suspension system can withstand the lateral forces acting on the front wheels of the four-wheel-steering vehicle, said lateral forces being larger than those in a two-wheel-steering vehicle. Further, the suspension system is set to have a lowered rigidity against rolling of the vehicle body where it is installed in a four-wheel-steering vehicle, whereby the riding comfort can be maintained as that of the two-wheel-steering vehicle.

  • Patent number: 4589396
Abstract: A supercharger control in an automobile engine comprising an intake passage having an air pump for supercharging air to be fed to the engine, a bypass passage bypassing the air pump and having a control valve for opening and closing the bypass passage, an electromagnetic clutch for selectively coupling and decoupling the air pump with and from an output shaft of the engine, and a control device for controlling both the air pump and the control valve in dependence on the degree of requirement for acceleration represented by the load on the engine or the position of an automobile transmission.
