  • Publication number: 20210235761
Abstract: A housing and a flavor inhalation device have a new structure. The housing includes a first housing capable of accommodating a heat generating element, a second housing enclosing the first housing, and a heat diffusion member provided in at least a part of space between the first housing and the second housing and having a higher heat conductivity than the first housing and the second housing.

  • Publication number: 20050063287
Abstract: When a gain control circuit is its maximum gain, an offset adjusting circuit generates an offset adjusting voltage so that an offset voltage included in an output signal of this gain control circuit becomes a target voltage within a dynamic range of a digital correction unit, and a control circuit adjusts an offset by adding the offset adjusting voltage to a control signal from a processing circuit in an adding circuit. In this case, a residual offset voltage included in an output signal of this gain control circuit is corrected by a digital correction unit. All of the electrical offset in the analog circuitry are not cancelled, but the offset adjustment is carried out to a range correctable by the digital correction circuit.

  • Patent number: 6133160
Abstract: This invention is directed to a method for the reform of an undercoating surface prior to the formation of a prospective film by the CVD technique using a reaction gas containing an ozone-containing gas having ozone contained in oxygen and TEOS. This method comprises the steps of forming an undercoating insulating film on a substrate by the use of a mixed gas consisting of an ozone-containing gas having ozone contained in oxygen in a concentration of not less than 4% and a first silicon-containing gas, and reforming the surface of said undercoating insulating film by exposing said surface to a second silicon-containing gas.

  • Patent number: 6109388
Abstract: A sound absorbing mechanism using a porous material has a sound absorbing plate of a thin plate porous material made by partially heating for welding plastic particles and a supporting member for supporting the sound absorbing plate and forming a back air space. More than one pair of resonators having a separated back air space in the aforementioned back air space are fixed to the sound absorbing plate, and the resonators are disposed to be opposed to a sound insulator with the supporting member between. Plural reflecting members or increased sound absorbers may be disposed to be opposed to the surface of the sound absorbing plate opposite to the surface equipped with the resonators, or a perforated protecting plate fixing the plural reflecting members or the increased sound absorbers thereon are may be equipped. The sound absorbing mechanism has a superior sound absorption characteristic from lower frequencies to higher frequencies.

  • Patent number: 5328533
Abstract: A method and a device for applying an apex (13) to the outer peripheral surface of a bead ring (12) prior to assembling a bead portion with a tire carcass in manufacture of an air-filled tire, wherein the apex is fed from one end thereof to the outer peripheral surface of the bead ring (12) and applied thereto as it is wound with rotation of the bead ring (12), the rotation is interrupted to clamp the rear portion of the apex and cut to length, the rotation is resumed to apply the remainder and the rear end of the apex is then move along a circular arc convex toward the bead ring to form the joint portion.

  • Patent number: 5145542
Abstract: A method for producing a biased belt sheet includes the steps of cutting a longitudinally extending rubbered strip, having a number of cords embedded therein extending parallel to the longitudinal direction of the strip, at a desired angle with respect to the longitudinal direction into unit sheets of a desired length, each being in the form of a parallelogram, on a cutting conveyor by cutting means, transferring in turn each unit sheet from the cutting conveyor to a sheet joining conveyor by holding means and transfer means, positioning the unit sheet so that the cut edges of the unit sheet become parallel to the moving direction of the sheet joining conveyor, and adhering the forward end of the unit sheet to the rearward end of the preceding unit sheet to form a continuous belt sheet of biased cord material.

  • Patent number: 5091125
Abstract: A method of producing an anti-slip shoe sole makes use of a shoe sole forming die having a plurality of independent, projection-forming cavities in the bottom thereof. The cavities open to a reverse side of the die through respective escape holes connected to the cavities. A foamable, unvulcanized green rubber containing hard fibers dispersed therein is set in the shoe sole forming die. Heat and pressure are applied to the unvulcanized green rubber to cause the unvulcanized green rubber to fill the cavities and further to flow into the escape holes, thereby forming a shoe sole blank having projections integral therewith. Buffing is effected on the bottom portions of the projections, thereby allowing ends of the hard fibers to appear in the ground-contact surfaces of the projections.
