  • Patent number: 6892197
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a database transition system capable of promptly and surely performing a transition from the relational database to the object database, and a program storage medium storing the associated processing program. The database transition system comprises RDB definition information extracting means 11 for extracting RDB definition information from an RDB repository 21 describing therein definition information of the relational database 20 which is a transition object to the object database 30, and repository creating means 12 for creating an ODB repository 31 describing therein definition information of the object database associated with the RDB definition information in accordance with the RDB definition information extracted by the RDB definition information extracting means 11 and for creating correlation information repository 15 defining mutual relationship between the RDB definition information and ODB definition information.

  • Patent number: 5242567
Abstract: A fluorescence pattern reading apparatus for reading a fluorescence pattern by exciting a fluorescence substance labeled on a sample developed into an electrophoresis pattern by electrophoresis of the sample has optical scanning mechanisms, a light-receiving unit, a photoelectric converting unit, and amplifiers. The mechanisms are to irradiate the gel in the direction of thickness of the gel by scanning the irradiation light for exciting the fluorescent substance of the fluorescence patter. The light-receiving unit is to receive the fluorescence by separating the fluorescence from the light scattered on the reading surface of the gel due to a spatial position relationship of a light-receiving path in which the light-receiving surface is set to exist in the direction different from the axis of the irradiation light. The photoelectric converting unit is to generate electric signals by converting light signals received by the light-receiving unit.
