  • Publication number: 20130175882
Abstract: Consciousness of environmental conservation is increasing nowadays, and there are power generators for a portable device and employing power generation schemes without a co2 discharge, such as solar power generation and hand-crank power generation. When, however, power is supplied, information indicating that the power is obtained from clean energy without a CO2 discharge is unknown at the portable-device side. When power is supplied from the power generator to the portable device, a power generation scheme identifier for identifying a power generation scheme is transmitted. The portable device identifies the power generation scheme identifier, and can recognize the power generation scheme of the connected power generator. A supplied power level is recognized based on a power level of the storage battery of the portable device at a time point of starting the power supply, and a power level of the storage battery at a time point of terminating the power supply.

  • Patent number: 7771904
Abstract: A shading area having a transmissivity in the range of 0 to 2% is formed at the center of a clear defect in a wiring pattern of a half tone mask. Semitransparent areas having a transmissivity in the range of 10 to 25% are formed, adjacently to shading area, in areas extending from the inside of the edge of an imaginary pattern having no defect to the outside of the edge. In this way, in the correction of the defect in the half tone mask, the working accuracy tolerable margin of the correction portion of the defect can be made large.

  • Patent number: 7627470
Abstract: A speaking period required for a voice recognition processing is detected with a simple and robust approach. A speaking period is detected based on an EMG generated when a speaker speaks. A large amplitude is observed in an EMG as muscular activity is caused when a speaker speaks. By observing this, a speaking period can be detected. The EMG can be measured from the speaker's skin via electrodes provided on a mobile-type terminal. Since a mobile-type terminal is usually pressed to the skin for use, affinity between this use form and the present invention is very high.
