  • Patent number: 6535938
Abstract: A servo-amplifier has a RS232C-communication I/F circuit, a RS422 (RS485) communication I/F circuit, and a CPU 11. The CPU 11 of this servo-amplifier fetches data received by the RS232C-communication I/F circuit into a local station, converts the received data to communication data for RS422 (RS485) and transmits the converted data from the RS422 (RS485) communication I/F circuit to other stations, converts the data received by the RS422 (RS485) communication I/F circuit to communication data for RS232C and transmits the converted data from the RS232C-communication I/F circuit to other stations.

  • Patent number: 5513114
Abstract: The present invention provides a numerical control system employing an automatic tuning section for automatically tuning control parameters, such as position deformation parameters, corresponding to the numerical control of the position of a table using a servo loop. In particular, the present invention provides an apparatus for, a method of, compensating for machine deformation and ballscrew errors produced by the play resulting from loose connections between a ballscrew and a moving table engaged thereto. The present invention provides a first and second change slowing means for respectively changing the compensation amounts of the machine deformation and ballscrew deformation error amount stored in a numerical control apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5285378
Abstract: An apparatus for and method of automatically tuning control parameters of a servo or spindle drive system controlled by a numerical control unit is disclosed. The numerical control unit employs an automatic tuning device that automatically selects a tuning program and test run program associated with a selected control parameter. The tuning device test runs the servo or spindle according to the test run program selected and changes and controls the status value data measured in accordance with the control parameter selected. The invention also relates to a method of changing a criterion for the feature values of a control parameter, a method of comprehensively determining the feature values where there are a plurality of tuning conditions, and a method of sampling the status value data of the servo or spindle.
