  • Patent number: 9215716
Abstract: A wireless communication apparatus on the receiving side receives communication data that is a transmitted to the wireless communication apparatus using one of the plurality of channels. Subsequently, the wireless communication apparatus on the receiving side obtains channel information contained in the communication data received by the receiving unit and judges whether the obtained channel information is target information indicating a channel of a processing target. The wireless communication apparatus on the receiving side performs a receiving process on the received communication data, when the judging unit determines that the obtained channel information is the target information, performs a receiving process on the communication data received by the receiving unit and that, when the judging unit determines that the obtained channel information is not the target information, discards the received communication data.

  • Patent number: 7796609
Abstract: A packet processing device that achieves stable operation by alleviating the workload of packet processing. A packet buffer checks a packet length flag and a processing time flag to observe the device's operating condition for a first connection. When neither of the two flags are on, the packet buffer keeps buffering first packets on the first connection. When either or both flags are on, the packet buffer changes focus to a second connection and begins buffering second packets on the second connection. A packet length monitor turns on the packet length flag if a new cumulative packet length is greater than a packet length threshold. A processing time monitor turns on the processing time flag if a new cumulative processing time estimate is greater than a predetermined processing time threshold.

  • Patent number: 5663949
Abstract: A line protection switching system of a duplexed fiber interface shelf makes easily to reconcile conditions of duplexed fiber interface shelves, which perform line switching by employing APS bytes on an ISDN network. The line protection switching system has a pair of duplexed line switching controllers that send a line switching control signal to switch the transmission lines and a pair of duplexed line interface devices operatively connected to the pair of duplexed line switching controllers. An active interface device of the duplexed interface devices receives the line switching control signal only from an active line switching controller of the duplexed line switching controllers and echoes the received control signal back to the duplexed line switching controllers.
