The composition comprises about 30% to about 90% by weight of a cephalosporin antibiotic; about 1% to about 30% by weight of said mixture of polymers comprising from about 0.1% to about 15% by weight of galactomannans, and about 0.1% to about 15% of neutral swellable polymer by weight of sustained release composition.
