    Abstract: A liquid crystal display panel including transparent electrode pairs confronting each other with liquid crystal substance disposed therebetween. At least one of each electrode pair is split into thin line electrode strips with color filters of several kinds of color being disposed thereon or on corresponding positions on the opposite electrode. The panel produces a display in an arbitrary color through the application of a certain combination of color signals between the electrodes selectively.
