    Abstract: The application relates to link adaptation for extremely high throughput (EHT) systems. In order to transmit parameters for EHT link adaptation, a control ID field in the HT control field of a MAC header is used to indicate that the A-control field of the HT control field contains EHT link adaptation information, and to indicate the presence of an additional EHT link adaptation extension field containing further EHT link adaptation information. Alternatively, B25 of the control information of the A-control field is used to indicate that the control field contains EHT link adaptation information, and to indicate the presence of an additional EHT link adaptation extension field containing further EHT link adaptation information.
