Patent number: 10253199Abstract: An inkjet ink includes a polyamide resin; at least one tackifier that is selected from the group consisting of a terpene phenol resin and a rosin ester, and that has a hydroxyl value that ranges from 10 to 45 mgKOH/g; a solvent dye; and an alcohol having 1 to 3 carbon atoms. The inkjet ink has quick-drying properties, is capable of satisfactorily improving printing fixability with respect to a non-absorptive printing object made of polyolefin or the like, is excellent in storage stability so that precipitation etc., do not easily occur for a long time, and is excellent in intermittent printability so that the nozzle of an inkjet printer is not easily clogged during a decapping time.Type: GrantFiled: April 16, 2015Date of Patent: April 9, 2019Assignee: GENERAL CO., LTD.Inventor: Kozo Isobe

Publication number: 20180072902Abstract: [Problem] An inkjet ink is provided that is characterized by being excellent in intermittent printability particularly in being used in an on-demand type inkjet printer, that is characterized in that printings are not easily blurred when printing is restarted, and that is characterized in that printings that have been printed on a metal surface or a low-polarity surface or the like are not easily blurred or do not easily come off even if the printings are repeatedly rubbed with a fingertip or the like. [Solution] A phenol resin whose softening point is 70 to 125° C., a tackifier, a colorant, and an organic solvent were compounded together. It is preferable to use an alcohol having one to three carbon atoms as the organic solvent. Additionally, it is preferable to use a terpene phenol resin whose hydroxyl value is 10 to 45 mgKOH/g as the tackifier in dye-based compounding, and it is preferable to use a rosin ester resin whose acid value is 2 to 10 mgKOH/g as the tackifier in pigment-based compounding.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 22, 2016Publication date: March 15, 2018Applicant: General Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hidehiro TAKEMOTO, Kozo ISOBE

Publication number: 20140113996Abstract: A non-aqueous inkjet ink includes a polyvinyl chloride resin synthesized by a suspension polymerization method or an emulsion polymerization method, an organic solvent that is a mixed solvent including diethylene glycol ethyl methyl ether, diethylene glycol diethyl ether, and diethylene glycol monoethyl ether in which the polyvinyl chloride resin is dissolved. This inkjet ink also includes a pigment, and a radical polymerization inhibitor. The radical polymerization inhibitor prevents the polyvinyl chloride resin from gelling in a short period and causing a discharge fault, clogging, etc. An ink set of inkjet inks includes a combination of the non-aqueous inkjet inks above having respective colors and including at least a cyan ink, a magenta ink, a yellow ink, and a black ink.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 27, 2013Publication date: April 24, 2014Applicant: General Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kozo ISOBE, Kengo NAGAE

Patent number: 8629198Abstract: Disclosed is a non-aqueous inkjet ink that includes a polyvinyl chloride resin synthesized by a suspension polymerization method or an emulsion polymerization method; an organic solvent that is a mixed solvent comprising diethylene glycol ethyl methyl ether, diethylene glycol diethyl ether, and diethylene glycol monoethyl ether in which the polyvinyl chloride resin is dissolved; a pigment; and a radical polymerization inhibitor. In another embodiment, the mixed solvent includes N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, diethylene glycol diethyl ether, and diethylene glycol monoethyl ether. The radical polymerization inhibitor prevents the polyvinyl chloride resin from gelling in a short period and causing a discharge fault, clogging, etc. Also disclosed is an ink set of inkjet inks includes a combination of the non-aqueous inkjet inks above having respective colors and including at least a cyan ink; a magenta ink; a yellow ink; and a black ink.Type: GrantFiled: February 1, 2011Date of Patent: January 14, 2014Assignee: General Technology Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kozo Isobe, Kengo Nagae
