    Abstract: A method for producing a plate heater, which comprisespreparing a mixture by dispersing electrically conductive fibers in a resin composition comprising a thermosetting resin, a curing agent and a thickener,laminating the resulting mixture to a first sheet-like material capable of being impregnated with said resin composition to thereby impregnate a part of the resin composition in said first sheet-like material, and thickening the resin composition to form a sheet-like preform,laminating a second sheet-like material capable of being impregnated with said resin composition to the mixture-laminated surface of the sheet-like preform, andheating the laminated assembly under pressure to cure the thermosetting resin composition.
