Abstract: An apparatus to carry out one or more of the machining, assembling, treatment and inspection processes for manufacturing electric lamps. The apparatus has a plurality of work heads (hereinafter called simply "heads") which are to be moved. While each head is moving from one position to another, a bulb member held by the head undergoes said process. If any one of the bulb members and/or heads undergone the process is found to be a bad one, to such a defective head new bulb members are not supplied thereafter, thereby preventing production of bad bulb members without interrupting the operation of the apparatus.
