  • Patent number: 4647885
Abstract: An electromagnetic relay includes an electromagnet, an armature assembly opposed to the electromagnet which moves according to the selective energization of the electromagnet, a contact mechanism which operates according to the movement of the armature assembly, and a pair of sheet springs which support the armature assembly so that it can reciprocate along its direction of motion. Thus, because the biasing force characteristic curve may be altered by altering the spring forces and characteristics of either or both of the sheet springs, it is possible to greatly expand the possible range and variety of adjustment of the relay, as opposed to the case in which only one sheet spring is used. The two sheet springs may optionally be mounted one on either side of the armature assembly, with respect to its direction of motion.

  • Patent number: 4626812
Abstract: An electromagnetic relay has a base, a terminal platform and a ground base board. The base is formed with an insertion socket and provided with an electroconductive coating. The terminal platform has terminals and is fitted in the insertion socket. The ground base board is fixed against the base to hold the terminal platform in the socket and to contact the electroconductive coating. The relay has an excellent switching in high frequency and good sealing characteristics are obtained.

  • Patent number: 4626813
Abstract: A polarized electromagnetic relay apparatus for assembling a coil spool with a terminal carrying base plate is disclosed. The coil spool assembly has a front collar with a projecting piece. The projecting piece is adapted to engage with a latch hole in the terminal carrying base plate. The terminal carrying base plate has jaw-like, offset portions which engage with supporting offset portions formed in the rear collar of the coil spool assembly. The flexible projecting pieces may be of deformable material in order to easily engage with the latch hole of the base plate. The flexible projecting pieces can be tapered, also to facilitate engagement with the base plate latch hole. A terminal holder is formed on the rear collar of the coil spool assembly and is adapted to receive terminals from the coil. The terminal holder comprises the supporting offset portions which engage with the jaw-like offset portions of the base plate. The terminal holder is of a greater thickness than the base plate.

  • Patent number: 4496806
Abstract: A high frequency R-F switch includes a switch body or housing made from a conductive material or a non-conductive resin having a conductive layer plated on the body surfaces. The switching device includes a first external connector, a first conductor having a switching contact member connected to the first external connector for switching a connection with the switch contact member. A conductive housing supports the first conductor, a second external connector and second conductor. The switch body or housing is in electrical connection with the second external conductor.
