  • Patent number: 6659029
Abstract: Inhibition of forest damage exerts by ultraviolet rays. By selecting species having triploid or tetraploid of chromosomes and afforestating to form the ultraviolet resistant forest by forming the artificial forest.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 11, 2001
Date of Patent: December 9, 2003
    Inventors: Kozo Niwa, Yoshinori Sasaki
  • Publication number: 20020098252
Abstract: The present invention is the invention for augmenting the anti-cancer efficacy in the amygdalin-contained loquat seed, etc. by roasting with infrared ray, fermenting with Koji, and oil-coat. The invention in relating to the increase peroxide lipid formation in the system by radiating the docosahexaenoic acid with ultra-violet ray under addition and increasing the concentration of treated product containing amygdalin from the processes. The more peroxide lipid formation, the stronger the anticancer efficacy in oral route is assessed and predicted. The invention in relation to apply the method of this invention to assess the efficacy of substance containing amygdalin.

  • Patent number: 6004588
Abstract: Provided are a far-infrared radiation material and a medicine and a food derived therefrom. The far-infrared radiation material is obtained by steps comprising pulverizing a stone (SGES) having been absorbing solar energy for a geologically long time, emitting far-infrared radiation of the wavelength 4-14 .mu.m and comprising at least about 28% of Si, about 10% of Al, about 6% of K and about 4% of Fe, and forming the pulverized stone into spheres. This material can be used as sand for a sand bath. Also ultrafine powder obtained by pulverizing the SGES and grinding the pulverized SGES can be used as a medicine or a food.

  • Patent number: 5009891
Abstract: Natural products with antioxidant activity and production method of thereof, their composition being effective in scavenging reactive oxygen species in the human body. Said natural products are produced by brewing plant seeds, grain and/or germs thereof, containing low-molecular-weight reactive oxygen species-scavenging substances, with microorganisms added thereto, and by adding oil obtained from heated plant to the product. Vitamin C, vitamin C derivatives, or plants containing these substances may be further added to the products.
