  • Patent number: 4722031
Abstract: A headlight assembly mounting a headlight to a vehicle by means of resilient blocks such that the headlight and associated headlight frame may be detached. An electrical cord is associated with the headlight such that the headlight may be moved some distance from the vehicle. The cord has a preset coil and extends to a container which easily receives the cord with the light in position on the vehicle. An electrical case provides for electrical connection of the hedlight cord and other associated electrical components. The container may be fixed adjacent to the electrical case with both being fixed to the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 4630699
Abstract: A driving wheel supporting system wherein a pair of plate-like brackets is secured respectively to left and right frames of a vehicle body, and a pipe extends between the brackets for supporting a driving axle shaft, the pipe having one end welded to one of the brackets. An intermediate portion of the pipe is welded to the other bracket and the other end of the pipe projects outwardly from the other bracket. The driving axle shaft is disposed in the pipe and has one end portion supported on a bearing mounted in the other end of the pipe, the one end portion of the driving axle shaft supporting thereon one of left and right wheels. Also provided is a final power transmission unit including a transmission mechanism mounted on the one bracket at one surface thereof extending in a plane outside the frames, the other end of the driving axle shaft being connected to the transmission mechanism. The driving wheel supporting system as thus constructed is reduced in weight and has great strength and rigidity.

  • Patent number: 4325562
Abstract: A three-wheeled motor vehicle has a container for clothes and other things that is supported between a pair of channel-shaped bars extending rearwardly from the vehicle frame between a pair of rear wheels. The container has a pair of front resilient rollers disposed laterally thereof and fitted in a pair of respective channels fixed to and disposed in the channel-shaped bars, and a pair of rear resilient rollers fitted in the channel-shaped bars. The front resilient rollers are retained against forward movement by front vertical portions of the channels. The rear resilient rollers are retained against rearward movement by stop plates on a U-shaped guard fastened to the channel-shaped bars. The container is stably supported on the bars by the resilient rollers against vibrations and impacts.

  • Patent number: 4304746
Abstract: A process for producing preoxidized fiber spun yarns is described comprising subjecting an acrylonitrile fiber tow to a preoxidation, applying a surface active agent, stretch cutting without crimping, crimping to form slivers, processing in a gilling step, and spinning; according to this process, short fibers and powders of fibers are formed to a lesser extent, and nebs, slubs and flies, etc. are caused to a lesser extent, and preoxidized fiber spun yarns having high quality are obtained in a high yield.

  • Patent number: 4051485
Abstract: An ink-jet printer which blows ink drops to the surface of the printing paper so that the contours formed by the ink drop dots are letters, numerical figures and signs. The printer includes pairs of deflection plates with the amount and timing of the deflection being controlled by synchronized digitally controlled voltages.

  • Patent number: 3972052
Abstract: Printing apparatus which blows ink drops to the surface of the printing paper so that contours formed by the ink drops are letters, numerical figures and other symbols. A time delay is employed in charging the ink drops to be deposited, depending upon whether ink drops are to be successively or non-successively deposited upon the medium upon which printing takes place. By delaying the charging, compensation for the differences in deflection angle due to the pneumatic resistance and Coulomb force repulsion between successive and nonsuccessive dot deposition is effected.
