    Abstract: A stator coil for a rotating electrical machine, the stator coil including a stator iron core and a coil formed by winding an enamel wire around a slot of the stator iron core, in which the enamel wire is covered with a cured product of a first insulating varnish containing a polyester resin and the coil is covered with a cured product of a second insulating varnish containing an epoxy acrylate resin. The stator coil for a rotating electrical machine has an insulating layer with excellent adhesive strength to prevent thermal degradation of its enamel wire and has excellent dielectric strength properties retained for an extended period of time.
