Patent number: 11806439Abstract: Methods, devices and program products are provided for a medical instrumentation storage cabinet. First and second instrumentation retention trays are configured to receive surgical instruments. The housing includes a top plate, a bottom shelf and at least one intermediate shelf there between. The bottom and intermediate shelfs and the first and second instrumentation retention trays include a plurality of holes there through to allow passage of a sterilization medium during a sterilization process. Standoffs are distributed about a perimeter of the housing. The standoffs separate the intermediate shelf from the top plate and bottom shelf to define first and second tray storage areas there between. The first and second tray storage areas have a shape and dimension to receive the first and second instrumentation retention trays. The standoffs are spaced apart from one another to define tray passages there between.Type: GrantFiled: July 12, 2021Date of Patent: November 7, 2023Assignee: SLYDER TRAY LLCInventors: Michael J. Lucier, Kraig H. Allen

Patent number: 6099812Abstract: A sterilization tray for supporting medical instrumentation during the sterilization process. The tray includes a base having a perforated bottom wall to allow the passage of sterilization steam into the tray. A removable floor is fitted into the base and supported spacedly above the base bottom wall. The floor also includes perforations to allow for the passage of sterilization steam into the tray and above the instrumentation therein. One or more instrument holders are supported by the floor, extending upwardly from the floor in a direction opposite the location of the base bottom wall. The instrument holders can be removed from the floor with the floor being removed from the base, reversed in orientation and fitted into the base in its spaced relationship from the base bottom wall. The instrument holders are then repositioned upon the floor, extending upwardly from the opposite side of the floor.Type: GrantFiled: June 18, 1998Date of Patent: August 8, 2000Assignee: Paragon Medical, Inc.Inventors: Kraig H. Allen, Thomas J. Bussell, Stephen L. Peterson, Jason M. Winterrowd
