The device also includes a plurality of simulators configured to simulate a plurality of functions associated with the disk drive based on the third signal, and the plurality of simulators include at least two of an input/output (I/O) performance simulator, a power characteristic simulator and an additional signal simulator, and each of the plurality of simulators is connected to the converter and the simulator controller.
