The first workload may be associated with a first computing resource provisioned on a first service provider network and the second workload may be associated with a second computing resource provisioned on a second service provider network. The techniques may import data associated with the first workload and the second workload into the space. The techniques may cause an action to be performed for the first workload and the second workload by implementing a first workflow for the first workload and implementing a second workflow for the second workload.

Abstract: Techniques for providing visualizations of changes in characteristics of a cloud-based network of resources over a period of time are described herein. The techniques may include obtaining data from a cloud-service provider representing changes in the characteristics of cloud-based resources for the period of time. Thereafter, a cloud management platform may transform the data by employing algorithms of an intermediate model to create a description of a visualization of the changes in the characteristics of the cloud-based network of resources. In some instances, the intermediate model may use one or more parameters included in a request from a client device to create the description of the visualization. The intermediate model may be used to provide the description of the visualization of the changes in the characteristics of the cloud-based network of resources over the period of time to be presented on a display of the client device.

Abstract: A consolidated bill for commodity computing services may be unconsolidated by obtaining periodic usage statistics corresponding to computing-commodity usage specific to each entity whose consumption is included in the consolidated bill. Based at least in part on the usage statistics and on one or more entity-specific discount entitlements, a discounted billing rate that is applicable to at least some of an entity's usage can be determined, as can a non-discounted billing rate. Using the determined statistics and billing rates, an unblended cost for each entity's specific commodity usage can be computed and stored for subsequent presentation to each entity and/or for further processing.
