Abstract: A disc sander, grinder, or combination machine, hand-held, having an umbrella-shaped hood enclosing the full perimeter of the disc and urged downward to contact the workpiece so air and debris particles may be drawn by a suction blower through an annulus surrounding the disc and discharged into a porous bag for collecting of debris.Making the porous bag of wire mesh for strength and heat resistance, and making the grinding disc working surface a flat cone to help ensure better collection of debris particles are additional features.

Abstract: A paint scraper and sander machine is provided and consists of a frame structure that is adjustably supported on a working surface, a contoured drum wheel rotatably supported on the frame structure for scraping and sanding the working surface and a motor supported in the frame structure for driving the drum wheel.

Abstract: A compressor pump for conveying fluids is provided and consists of an electric motor driving a cone-shaped impeller within a stationary casing affixed to a stationary stand in which fluids entering the casing and through the impeller are compressed to exit therefrom into a hose affixed to the stand for carrying the compressed fluids.

Abstract: A spray guard for a paint spray gun is provided that will deliver a shroud of pressurized air about a paint spray issuing from the spray nozzle to eliminate over spray of the paint and create a smoother finish to surface sprayed. Modifications are provided that include a flexible deflector with a closure that mates with holes in the spray nozzle and also include removeable spray fittings for the nozzle.
