Abstract: In some implementations, the disclosed systems and methods a user can be at a source location (e.g., XR environment, two-dimensional webpage/browser, etc.) and input received can trigger traveling the user to a target XR environment (e.g., an immersive environment). In some implementations, the disclosed systems and methods a user can spawn a virtual portal in an origin virtual world for travel to a destination virtual world for the creating user and a group of other users having avatars near that of the creating user. In some implementations, the disclosed systems and methods a user can be at a source location (e.g., XR environment, two-dimensional webpage/browser, etc.) and input received can trigger traveling the user to a target XR environment (e.g., an immersive environment).
