  • Patent number: 12010756
Abstract: A UE may be configured to receive, from a base station, consecutive DCI messages including respective indicator values that are equal, each of the indicator values indicating an association with one of a new transmission or a retransmission. The UE may be further configured to remain in an awake state for at least a portion of a scheduled sleep state of a DRX cycle scheduled by the base station based on the respective indicator values being equal across the consecutive DCI messages. A base station may be configured to transmit, to a UE, a DCI message indicating a set of resources allocated to the UE for a transmission, and to transmit, to the UE, data to synchronize a DRX cycle with the UE based on an absence of the transmission from the set of resources allocated to the UE.

  • Publication number: 20240172030
Abstract: A system and method for minimizing Bluetooth packet retransmission is disclosed. The Bluetooth device creates a channel map as is currently done. However, the Bluetooth device also establishes a “clean channel” threshold. In relatively low noise environments, all of the channels in the channel map may also be considered clean channels, such that all of the channels in the channel map are used for Bluetooth packet transmissions. However, in noisy environments, some of the channels in the channel map may not be denoted as “clean channels”. In this situation, the Bluetooth device may transmit NULL or POLL packets when these channels are scheduled to be used and transmit the actual data packet in the next scheduled slot on a clearer channel.

  • Publication number: 20240146377
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for enabling downlink throttling, such as for thermal mitigation. For example, a user equipment (UE) may transmit channel state feedback (CSF) with a report of a first rank that is less than a second rank associated with a channel condition and may communicate with a base station using a configuration associated with the first rank and without a set of sounding reference signals (SRSs). Alternatively, the UE may transmit one or more SRSs using a configuration associated with the first rank. In this way, by refraining from transmission of the SRSs or by adjusting the configuration the SRSs, the UE causes the base station to support downlink throttling.

  • Patent number: 11959414
Abstract: Operating a gaseous fuel engine includes spark-igniting gaseous hydrogen fuel and air, and propagating combustion gases of the spark-ignited mixture outwardly from a spark gap. The propagating combustion gases are impinged upon a cone surface of a piston so as to limit a flame area of the propagating combustion gases. Additional gaseous hydrogen fuel and air is ignited in the combustion cylinder by way of the propagating combustion gases to urge a piston toward a bottom-dead-center position.

  • Publication number: 20240121180
Abstract: A network interface controller (NIC) capable of efficient operation management for host accelerators is provided. The NIC can be equipped with a host interface and triggering logic block. During operation, the host interface can couple the NIC to a host device. The triggering logic block can obtain, via the host interface from the host device, an operation associated with an accelerator of the host device. The triggering logic block can determine whether a triggering condition has been satisfied for the operation based on an indicator received from the accelerator. If the triggering condition has been satisfied, the triggering logic block can obtain a piece of data generated from the accelerator from a memory location and execute the operation using the piece of data.

  • Patent number: 11949769
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein relate to improving a power output of a transmitter of an electronic device. To do so, the transmitter may include signal selection circuitry to adjust a sign selection signal to accurately transition between polarities of a quadrature (e.g., I or Q) component signal stored in or for which an indication is stored in a storage cell of a radio frequency digital-to-analog converter. The sign selection signal may generate a separate adjusted sign selection signal for each polarity of each quadrature component signal such that a transition of the selection signal between a first value and a second value (e.g., logic high and low) occurs when the respective quadrature (e.g., +/? and I/Q) component signal is a logic low. In this way, the signal selection circuitry reduces an error pulse in the output of the transmitter.

  • Publication number: 20240107568
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device, such as an access point (AP), may perform a channel selection procedure that accounts for one or more sub-channels of a particular channel being punctured. For example, an AP may generate multiple channel efficiency metrics for multiple channels. The multiple channel efficiency metrics may be based on measuring the multiple channels and one or more subchannel puncturing patterns for the one or more channels of the multiple channels. The AP may transmit a message on a channel of the multiple channels based on a channel efficiency metric, of the multiple channel efficiency metrics, for the channel. The AP may transmit a control message including a puncture bitmap that indicates a subchannel puncturing pattern for one or more subchannels of the channel. The message may be transmitted on the channel in accordance with the puncture bitmap.

  • Patent number: 11941248
Abstract: Approaches for data compression involve a compression circuit packing non-zero data elements of a succession of words of a plurality of blocks into packed words by packing non-zero data elements of one or more words of the succession in each packed word, and restricting each packed word to data elements of one uncompressed block. The compression circuit writes each packed word in a RAM and within a compressed address range associated with the uncompressed block when the packed word is full of non-zero data elements, or before the packed word is full if the next input word is of another uncompressed block.
