  • Publication number: 20230410484
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure discuss a system and a method for anomaly detection in an object. Conventional systems of defect detection require labeled training data. Further, current anomaly detection systems cannot be easily incorporated into factory production systems. Embodiments of the present disclosure address this problem by using a convolutional neural network (CNN) and feature based memories such as neural network based memories for anomaly detection. The method described in the embodiments uses neural network based memories to generate memory feature maps from feature maps extracted at intermediate layers of the CNN. Subsequently, heatmaps are created by calculating feature differences between the feature maps and the memory feature maps. Weighted averaging and post processing is performed on the heatmaps to identify the anomaly in the object.

  • Publication number: 20220237177
Abstract: A system for identifying and deleting records of hosts includes a local data manager. The local data manager identifies a discovery event associated with the host and a record type of record types, obtains, in response to identifying, all previously discovered records on the host associated with the record type from a host record repository, obtains discovered records associated with the record type and associated with the host, after obtaining all discovered records and previously discovered records, selects a previously discovered record of the previously discovered records, makes a determination that the previously discovered record does not match any discovered records of the discovered records and is not tagged with a soft delete tag or a hard delete tag, and in response to the determination, tags the previously discovered record with a soft delete tag, and notifies a data manager of modifications to the previously discovered records.

  • Patent number: 9991366
Abstract: After formation of a gate structure and a gate spacer, portions of an insulator layer underlying a semiconductor fin are etched to physically expose semiconductor surfaces of an underlying semiconductor material layer from underneath a source region and a drain region. Each of the extended source region and the extended drain region includes an anchored single crystalline semiconductor material portion that is in epitaxial alignment to the single crystalline semiconductor structure of the underlying semiconductor material layer and laterally applying a stress to the semiconductor fin. Because each anchored single crystalline semiconductor material portion is in epitaxial alignment with the underlying semiconductor material layer, the channel of the fin field effect transistor is effectively stressed along the lengthwise direction of the semiconductor fin.

  • Patent number: 9243828
Abstract: A method of measuring weight of the refrigerant recovered and a device for refrigerant recovery and recharge device is disclosed. A connection is established between the refrigerant recovery path and refrigerant recharge path. Refrigerant is filled in the refrigerant recovery path and the refrigerant recharge path. Once the refrigerant occupies the all components of the refrigerant recovery and recharge device, weight of the refrigerant storage tank is measured. The weight of the refrigerant storage tank is measured once before the recovery of the refrigerant from the refrigeration equipment and once after recovery of the refrigerant from the refrigeration equipment. Difference in the weights measured before recovery and after recovery is calculated to a get the amount of refrigerant recovered.

  • Publication number: 20080146290
Abstract: One aspect of the present invention can include a muting method for mobile telephones. The method can include a step of selecting a multifunction selector of a headset during a communication session. A mute toggle request can result that is conveyed to a mobile communication handset. Software within the handset can toggle a mute state for the communication session. In one embodiment, the multifunction selector can be a multifunction selector of a wireless headset. This selector can be overloaded to accept and terminate calls and/or to increase and decrease volume. In one configuration, the multifunction selector can be a laminate switching mechanism, which accepts a swiping and tapping input. For example, swiping a finger along the mechanism in one direction can increase volume, in another direction can decrease volume, and double tapping the mechanism can toggle a mute state.

  • Patent number: 6895453
Abstract: In traditional Fiber Channel systems, remote devices connected to the Fiber Channel network using a bridge or included in a storage enclosure are not tracked. If a remote device, such as a SCSI disk device, is removed or swapped, data errors such as data corruption can result. A device identifier corresponding to the remote device is obtained from the remote device. The device identifier may include the remote device's serial number and other identifying information pertaining to the device. The first time the remote device is used, the device identifier is obtained and stored by the Fiber Channel device using the remote device. This device identifier is compared with subsequently obtained identifiers. If the identifiers match, communication with the remote device occurs. However, if the identifiers do not match, an error condition is raised indicating that the remote device has been removed or swapped.

  • Patent number: 6792479
Abstract: In traditional Fibre Channel systems, remote devices connected to the Fibre Channel network using a bridge or included in a storage enclosure are not tracked. A device identifier corresponding to the remote device is obtained from the remote device. The device identifier may include the remote device's serial number and other identifying information pertaining to the device. The remote device's vendor and product identifiers are retrieved and matched against a table of known vendor/product identifiers. If the match is successful, a predefined routine is located based on the match. The predefined routine is repeatedly used to retrieve the device identifier from the remote device. Communication with the remote device continues while the device identifier matches a previously stored device identifier corresponding to the device. When the device identifier no longer matches, an error occurs indicating that the remote device has been removed or swapped.

  • Patent number: 6643586
Abstract: A GPS device is used in conjunction with a device, such as a SAN device, to record and track the device's location. A device can periodically report its location to one or more computer systems that track device locations. Another device can send a request to other devices requesting the devices' geographic location. The devices, in turn, respond with data corresponding to their geographic location. In the event of a catastrophe or other event rendering devices in one area inoperable, one of the computer systems can be used to identify a location of another device that includes similar data. The GPS data corresponding to a device can also be used to identify a technician that should respond to a device maintenance or repair event.
