Abstract: Systems and methods providing adaptive vulnerability detection and management are described. Certain embodiments include monitoring system parameters of a cloud-based system, invoking a security ontology knowledge base configured to relate the monitored system parameters to unknown and known vulnerabilities, identifying, based on the monitored system parameters and the invoked security ontology knowledge base, one or more vulnerabilities of the system, and further, implementing a risk management technique for each of the identified one or more vulnerabilities of the system.

Abstract: A device specific security policy system and method is described. Certain embodiments provide for differentiated levels of authentication, security, monitoring, and/or protection for IoT devices using device and/or class specific security policies. Certain embodiments comprise identifying each of a plurality of devices, classifying each of the identified plurality of devices, invoking a security policy manager, wherein the security policy manager comprises a plurality of security policy containers, each of the plurality of security policy containers corresponding to one or more of the plurality of classified devices, wherein each of the plurality of security containers comprise a device specific security policy, and enforcing the device specific security policy for each of the plurality of classified devices.
