Abstract: A method and system for facilitating authentication of a user for a network transaction. The method includes receiving a request for a transaction over a first communication channel. Further, the method includes transmitting a challenge to a user device associated with the request over a second communication channel disparate from the first communication channel. Additionally, the method includes receiving a response from the user device comprising an encrypted version of the challenge. The encrypted version is obtained by encrypting the challenge based on a public key. The public key is obtained by decrypting an entity secret stored in the user device based on a passcode provided by the user. Further, the method includes decrypting the response based on a private key corresponding to the public key to obtain a result. Moreover, the method includes authenticating the user device based on detection of the challenge comprised in the result.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses methods and systems for facilitating secured access to storage devices. The method includes receiving a request for access to the storage device, the storage device is associated with an identifier, for example, hardware identifier. Upon receiving, at least one of an encryption key and a decryption key associated with the storage device is identified, the identification is performed based on the identifier. After identification, at least one authentication message is transmitted to at least one user device associated with at least one of the storage device and a user of the storage device. Then, at least one authentication response from the user of the storage device is received. Based on the at least one authentication response, access to the storage device is granted.
