    Abstract: An allocation template is generated by indicating which financial dimensions are to be allocated an amount reflected in a source document, along with the proportionate share of the amount that is to be allocated to each of the financial dimensions. The allocation template is then assigned to a source document (either to the document as a whole, or to individual lines of the document) so the amount in the source document is automatically allocated as indicated by the allocation template.
