  • Patent number: 11704960
Abstract: A coin handling apparatus having: a first coin position; a second coin position; and a pipe for transporting coins from the first to the second coin position. The pipe is jointed and has a rigid, elongate element having a straight, elongate portion and a curved portion at a first end of the straight, elongate portion. The pipe further includes a rigid, curved element. The curved portion and the curved element are connected to define a continuous passageway through the curved element and the elongate element. The curved element, at least before mounting of the pipe in the coin handling apparatus, is rotatable in relation to the elongate element, such that an angle between a first opening of the curved element and a direction extending along the straight elongate portion is variable.

  • Patent number: 8936505
Abstract: A coin dispensing apparatus has a cabinet serving as an apparatus housing for the apparatus. The apparatus further has a module for receiving, optionally validating and optionally sorting coins of different types and at least one dispenser for coins to be dispensed. The apparatus is adapted to dispense a specific composition of coins from the at least one dispenser to a portable coin receptacle. Each dispenser comprises a spout and is shaped such that a plurality of dispensers can be placed in a pattern allowing the spouts to be placed in a row. An effect of this is that the sorted coins can be dispensed in a row above the row of spouts, thus there is no need for an additional complex channel system for leading the sorted coins into the correct dispenser.

  • Publication number: 20080090508
Abstract: It is presented a coin bag support for supporting coin bags storing coins received from a coin deposit device, the coin bag support comprising: a main body section adapted to fit inside a coin bag, preventing a coin bag having been fitted in an operating position around the coin bag support from slipping off the coin bag support, the main body section comprising: an upper end with an upper opening for receiving coins from the coin deposit device; and a lower end with a lower opening, allowing coins previously received from the coin deposit device to fall into a fitted coin bag. A coin bag support is thus provided to be inserted in a coin bag, providing a simple and user error resilient way of arranging support to coin bags for use with a coin deposit device. A corresponding method, trolley and coin handling apparatus are also presented.
