  • Patent number: 8979460
Abstract: A fastening device comprising a main portion having a base end portion and a distal end portion wherein its base end is attached to a head intended to be in contact with a rim at the outer side of an aperture when the fastening device is located in the aperture. The main portion is provided with guiding elements in order to guide the fastening device when inserted into the aperture and resilient elements which during insertion will be pressed inwards in order to at a later stage, when the resilient elements have passed the rim of the aperture, resiliently move back and thus provide a locking of the fastening device by being in contact with the rim on the inside of the aperture. The guiding element is provided with at least three vanes which are attached at its bases to the head such that they are located at an essentially equidistant spacing from the centre point.

  • Publication number: 20100326855
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for feeding fasteners to a fastener driving tool, comprising the steps of determining the number (x) of fasteners required for an operation, assembling a fastener assembly comprising at least two fasteners, wherein the number of fasteners in said fastener assembly is a multiple of the number (x) of fasteners required for the operation and feeding said fastener assembly to said fastener driving tool. The invention also relates to a fastener assembly comprising at least two fasteners, wherein the number of fasteners is a multiple of the number (x). Finally, the invention relates to a fastener comprising attachment means for snap fitting said fastener to another fastener.

  • Patent number: 7695024
Abstract: Coupling for connecting of pipe shaped sections comprising a first pipe section and a coupling device arranged to connect the first pipe section with a second pipe section. When joined together, the first pipe section is arranged to receive the second pipe section in such a way that the first pipe section and the second pipe section forms an overlapping region. The wall of the first pipe section is provided with a through hole in the overlapping region and the coupling device is adapted to protrude through the hole. The coupling device is at least at one of its ends slidably attached in such a way that a rotational displacement around, and essentially perpendicular to, the axial direction of the pipe section will give rise to a change between a first position for locking, wherein said coupling device is protruding on the inner side of the first pipe section, and a second position for release wherein the coupling device essentially not is protruding.

  • Patent number: 6752576
Abstract: A dismountable clip includes a stem part (11), an entry end (13), and a hole edge attachment end (12), intended for insertion into a hole. The stem part has protruding heel-like elements (14a, 15a) which can be pivoted in and back out elastically. In a recess (18) in the stem part, each heel-like element has a maneuvering shoulder (19, 20), at a distance inwards from a hinge (16, 17) connecting the heel-like element and the stem part. An axial hole (23) for receiving a dismounting tool is formed through the hole edge attachment end and the stem part to the maneuvering shoulders. A free space (22) is situated between the maneuvering shoulder and the entry end to allow the maneuvering shoulder and, hence, the heel-like element to be pivoted with the dismounting tool about the hinge in the direction towards the entry end.

  • Patent number: 5282657
Abstract: A door handle assembly (10) to be mounted to a door, preferably a vehicle door, the assembly having a lock mechanism operating arrangement (11), made up of an operating handle (12) and an actuation lever (13), and a handle housing (14) to which the operating arrangement (11) is pivotally attached. To facilitate mounting of the door handle assembly to the door, the actuation lever (13) projects from the operating handle (12) at a predetermined fixed angle, and the actuation lever (13) is provided with an engagement surface (26) in the form of an open recess (31) directed away from the lock mechanism. The recess is intended to abut a portion (25) of actuation means (23) for the door lock when the door handle assembly is in its mounted state and the operating handle is displaced.
