  • Publication number: 20210373272
Abstract: A strain relief for a fiber optic assembly is provided including a base, a forward cable channel, a rear cable channel aligned with the at least one forward cable channel along a longitudinal axis, and an offset post disposed between the at least one forward cable channel and the at least one rear cable channel. Each of the forward cable channel and the rear cable channel includes a first post and a second post extending from the base. The offset post is disposed along the longitudinal axis, such that when an optical cable is installed into the strain relief the optical cable bends around the offset post out of the longitudinal axis.

  • Patent number: 10955634
Abstract: A fiber optic splitter module includes a body including a front wall, a rear wall, and first and second side walls together at least partially defining an interior space. The first side wall includes a tongue extending longitudinally along the first side wall, and the second side wall includes a first groove that is complementary to the tongue. The fiber optic splitter module also includes an optical splitter positioned in the interior space, an input fiber extending through the front wall or the rear wall into the interior space and optically coupled to the optical splitter, and a plurality of output fibers extending through the front wall or the rear wall into the interior space and optically coupled to the optical splitter.

  • Patent number: 10598858
Abstract: A fiber optic connection device having a casing with a first end and a second end is disclosed. An optical splitter is positioned in the casing and has an input proximal to the first end of the casing and an output proximal to the second end of the casing. A first optical interface is located adjacent to the first end and is in optical communication with the input of the optical splitter. The first optical interface includes a first optical fiber interconnection point. A second optical interface is located adjacent the second end of the casing and is in optical communication with the output of the optical splitter. The second optical interface includes a second optical fiber interconnection point. In some embodiments, the casing may provide protection from environmental elements.

  • Publication number: 20190121028
Abstract: A fiber optic connector assembly having a body connected to first and second tubular enclosures at their first ends is disclosed. The first tubular enclosure extends in a first direction. The second tubular enclosure extends in a second direction. An optical splitter is positioned in the body proximal to the first ends of the first tubular enclosure and the second tubular enclosure. A first waveguide extends from the optical splitter in the first direction through the first tubular enclosure. A second waveguide extends from the optical splitter in the second direction through the second tubular enclosure. A first fiber connector in optical communication with the first waveguide is connected to a second end of the first tubular enclosure. A second fiber connector in optical communication with the second waveguide and is connected to a second end of the second tubular enclosure. In some embodiments, the body may be sealed from environmental elements.
