    Abstract: The method comprises the steps of:(a) forming an aqueous suspension of ice nucleating microorganisms;(b) introducing the suspension into a water source to form an ice nucleated water source;(c) distributing and freezing the ice nucleated water source.The improvement is that the suspension of ice nucleating microorganisms is maintained throughout at a temperature below about 13.degree. C.
