  • Publication number: 20240084060
Abstract: The composition includes an acrylic monomer having a carboxylic acid group, an acrylic monomer having a hydroxyl group, at least one of an alkyl acrylate or alkyl methacrylate, and from 20 to 35 percent by weight of a compound composed of divalent segments L and at least two X groups. The divalent segments L are represented by formula L. Each segment L is respectively directly bonded to two secondary N atoms, two tertiary N atoms, or a secondary and a tertiary N atom. Each R1 represents an alkylene group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and at least some of the R1 groups are —CH2—CH2—CH2—CH2—. Each X group is independently represented by the formula CH2?C(R)—C(O)—O—V—W—C(O)—. The acrylic monomer having a carboxylic acid group is present in an amount of at least one percent and less than 20 percent by weight. Articles and methods using the composition are also described.

  • Publication number: 20240059940
Abstract: The composition includes at least 16 percent by weight of an acrylic monomer comprising a cycloalkyl group having up to 12 carbon atoms, an acrylic monomer having a carboxylic acid group, an acrylic monomer having a hydroxyl group, and a compound composed of divalent segments L and at least two X groups. • Patent number: 11851416
Abstract: Provided are methods of producing carbonyl compounds (e.g., carbonyl containing compounds) and catalysts for producing carbonyl compounds. Also provided are methods of making polymers from carbonyl compounds and polymers formed from carbonyl compounds. A method may produce carbonyl compounds, such as, for example ?,?-disubstituted carbonyl compounds (e.g., ?,?-disubstituted ?-lactones). The polymers may be produced from ?,?-disubstituted ?-lactones, which may be produced by a method described herein.

  • Publication number: 20220325022
Abstract: Provided are novel crosslinkers and curable compositions including such crosslinkers. Bonded constructions including the disclosed curable compositions display high adhesion, elongation, and impact resistance even if the bonded substrate receives no surface treatment prior to bonding. Provided are elastomeric products including the curable compositions, methods of making the same, and uses thereof.
