  • Patent number: 7020868
Abstract: A workstation is programmed to operate as an application development system for a medical imaging system. Objects programmed in an object-oriented language are selected from a component library using a visual component assembler which enables them to be dragged from a framework area on a display to a workspace area. Properties of selected components may be edited, and the resulting collection of components may be graphically linked together and saved as an application program.

  • Publication number: 20040260790
Abstract: A method and apparatus for remote or collaborative control of an imaging system included in an imaging system environment is disclosed herein. The environment provides an alternate user interface at a location where the remote or collaborative control of the imaging system will occur. The alternate user interface is generated by an application model included in or proximate to the imaging system. The application model is in communication with the alternate user interface. • Patent number: 6725077
Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing a “just-in-time” localizer image of an object of interest from which a high resolution image can be based is disclosed herein. The “just-in-time” localizer image is acquired based on at least one of a default localizer image of the object of interest, a precursor image of the object of interest, and a representation of a three-dimensional volume data set associated with the object of interest. The “just-in-time” localizer image and the high resolution image are prescribed, acquired, and displayed within a single graphical prescription environment.
