  • Patent number: 11992756
Abstract: Systems and methods for personalized controls and communications in virtual environments are provided. A virtual reality (VR) profile may be stored in memory for a user. Such VR profile may specify a cue associated with custom instructions executable to modify one or more virtual display elements. An interactive session associated with a virtual environment in which the user is participating via a user device may be monitored based on the VR profile stored for the user. The cue specified by the VR profile may be detected as being present in the monitored communication session. The virtual elements may be modified within a presentation of the virtual environment provided to the user device in accordance with the executable instructions associated with the cue specified by the VR profile of the user.

  • Patent number: 11883744
Abstract: A method and system for providing a memory-based motivational mode in virtual reality is disclosed. A plurality of virtual reality datasets is stored, each virtual reality dataset including data regarding a different set of stimuli and corresponding biometric data of a player. Launching a virtual reality session includes presenting a current set of stimuli to the player in a virtual reality environment of an interactive content title. A plurality of virtual reality datasets is stored. Each virtual reality dataset includes data regarding a different set of stimuli and corresponding biometric data of a player. Real-time biometric data is tracked and associated with the current set of stimuli presented to the player. The current set of stimuli of the virtual reality environment is updated based on a set of stimuli from an identified virtual reality dataset that include the biometric data corresponding to an identified change.

  • Publication number: 20230381652
Abstract: Methods and systems for cooperative or coached gameplay in virtual environments are disclosed. Memory may store a content control profile regarding a set of control input associated with an action in a virtual environment of a digital content title. A request may be received from a set of one or more users associated with different source devices regarding cooperative gameplay of the digital content title. At least one virtual avatar may be generated for an interactive session of the digital content title in response to the request. A plurality of control inputs may be received from the plurality of different source devices and combined into a combination set of control inputs. Generating the combination set of control input may be based on the content control profile. Virtual actions associated with the virtual avatar may be controlled within the virtual environment in accordance with the combination set of control inputs.

  • Patent number: 11765435
Abstract: Systems and methods for text tagging and graphical enhancement of subtitles in an audio-visual media display are disclosed. A media asset associated with an audio-visual display that includes one or more speaking characters may be received by a text tagging and graphical enhancement system. A set of sounds from the audio-visual display corresponding to speech by one of the speaking characters is identified. The set of sounds corresponding to the identified speaking character may be analyzed and one or more vocal parameters is identified, each vocal parameter measuring an element of one of the sounds. A display of subtitles synchronized to the speech of the identified speaking character within the audio-visual display may be generated. The appearance of the subtitles may be modified based on the identified vocal parameters for each of the corresponding sounds.

  • Patent number: 11724187
Abstract: A method and system for providing visual comparisons to previous gameplay is disclosed. A plurality of datasets, with each dataset associated with displaying at least a part of gameplay from a past gameplay session of an interactive content title and a set of synch points within the past gameplay session is stored. An input over a communication network from a client device of a player associated with a current gameplay session is received. The received input indicates one of the stored datasets associated with the interactive content title. An overlay for a display of the current gameplay session is generated. The overlay includes a ghost projection based on the indicated dataset. The ghost projection is superimposed over the display of a virtual environment of the current gameplay session based on the set of synch points.
