The method includes providing a plurality of article icons associated with a plurality of articles. At least one icon attribute of the plurality of article icons is indicative of real-time quantity associated with the plurality of articles. The method further includes receiving a first user interaction with an article icon and, in response, displaying at least one order icon representing at least one supplier for the article. The method includes receiving a second user interaction with an order icon and, in response, establishing a communication channel between the user and a supplier associated with the order icon in response to the second user interaction with the order icon. The communication channel enables at least one of the user and the supplier to dynamically modify at least one article attribute related to the article.
