Abstract: Systems and methods to provide a prioritized shopping system are discussed. For example, a method can include receiving a list of target items, receiving busyness data for a plurality of local merchants, developing a prioritized shopping plan, and communicating the prioritized shopping plan to a mobile device. Each target item in the list of target items can represents a product or service that a user has indicated an interest in purchasing. The prioritized shopping plan is based at least in part on the busyness data and the list of target items. Busyness data provides an indication of traffic levels within at least a portion of the plurality of local merchants.

Abstract: A system or method is provided to monitor a consumer's shopping routes associated with shopping lists. A location and movements of the consumer in a merchant's store may be monitored using a network of Bluetooth beacons installed throughout the merchant's store. When the consumer picks up a product from a store shelve and crosses out an item from a digital shopping list, the system may mark the location where the merchandise is picked up. Thus, a shopping route of the consumer may be detected as the consumer picks ups and crosses out various products listed on the shopping list during the shopping trip in the store. The consumer may share the shopping route with another consumer. The shopping route may be shared in real time, such that another consumer may make suggestions or comments or approve various items picked up by the consumer in real time.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided including a processor, a memory, and a vehicle tracking portal. The vehicle tracking portal is configured to obtain vehicle identification information regarding a vehicle. Then diagnostic information regarding the vehicle can be obtained. Then, based on the vehicle identification and the diagnostic information, a recommended service for the vehicle can be determined. A user can then be alerted to the recommended service.

Abstract: In an example embodiment, an indication of a donation amount and a goal of a virtual charitable event are received. Then the donation amount is broken down into a plurality of donation credits. The donation credits are then placed in a queue. Progress information is then received from a plurality of mobile devices, the progress information from each mobile device describing progress made towards the goal of the virtual charitable event from a user of the mobile device. The donation credits are then applied from the queue to a plurality of participants in the virtual charitable event based on the progress information received from the plurality of mobile devices.

Abstract: Systems and methods of applications for wearable devices are disclosed. In some embodiments, a wearable device receives data from a personal computing device communicatively coupled to the wearable device. The data can correspond to content of an online marketplace. In response to receiving the data, the content can be caused to be displayed on the wearable device. The wearable device can detect an input from a user. The input can correspond to a requested action. The wearable device can transmit at least one instruction to the personal computing device. The instruction(s) can be configured to cause the personal computing device to perform the requested action.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided including a processor, a memory, and a vehicle tracking portal. The system receives a first request from the mobile device that includes an indication of at least one swiping motion that is applied across a touch-sensitive screen on the mobile device. The mobile device is associated with a previously selected refinement and corresponding value. The system filters the search results. The refined search results include a second plurality of data items based on the previously selected refinement and the corresponding value. The system generates a second user interface that includes the refined search results. The system communicates the second user interface, over the network, to the mobile device. The second user interface includes the refined search results that include the second plurality of data items to display on the mobile device.

Abstract: Techniques for facilitating a shopping experience based on a passenger's destination are described. According to various embodiments, a destination location of a passenger on a vehicle is determined. Contextual electronic content is then selected, based on the destination location of the passenger. Thereafter, the contextual electronic content is displayed via a user interface on a vehicle passenger seat display screen associated with the passenger or on the passenger's mobile device.

Abstract: A method of dynamically altering a user experience based on safety level is provided. A first user experience is provided to a user in a vehicle. The information is received from an information source. The information is used to calculate a safety level score for a vehicle. Then, a second user experience different than the first user experience is provided to the user in the vehicle, based on the safety level score.

Abstract: A method of dynamically altering a user interface on an electronic device is provided. A user interface is presented to a user, wherein the user interface includes one or more elements. Then, a first aspect of a physical environment of the electronic device is determined. One or more elements of the user interface can then be dynamically modified based on the determined first aspect of the physical environment of the electronic device.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided including a processor, a memory, and a door. A scale is configured to, when the door is opened, measure the weight of an item placed in the apparatus. A scanner is then configured to, when the door is opened, scan an item placed in the apparatus. The processor is then configured to track the weight of the item when the item is placed in the apparatus and to automatically reorder more of the item in response to a determination that the weight of the item has fallen below a predefined threshold.

Abstract: In an example embodiment, a method of validating an electronic incentive provided to users is provided. An electronic incentive can be distributed to a first user. The electronic incentive provides a first discount amount for an item or service. A first indication that the electronic incentive has been redeemed at a merchant point of sale terminal can later be received. Validation may then occur to ensure that the electronic incentive referred to in the first indication is the electronic incentive distributed to the first user. Then, the first discount amount can be dynamically altered into a second discount amount different than the first discount amount, so that a redemption of the electronic incentive by the first user provides a discount equal to the second discount amount.

Abstract: A method of dynamically altering a user interface based on safety level is provided. A user interface is provided to a user in a vehicle with the user interface including a selectable option to wirelessly place a bid on an electronic auction. The selectable option is based, at least in part, on an auction parameter. A safety level score is then determined for the vehicle. The auction parameter is then dynamically altered based on the speed of the vehicle, resulting in a change to the selectable option.

Abstract: A method and system are provided to facilitate recognition of gestures representing commands to initiate actions within an electronic marketplace on behalf of a user. Spatial data about an environment external to a depth sensor may be received by an action machine. The action machine may generate a first model of a body of the user based on a first set of spatial data received at a first time. The action machine may then generate a second model of the body of the user based on a second set of spatial data received at a second time. The action machine may further determine that a detected difference between the first and second models corresponds to a gesture by the user, and that this gesture represents a command by the user to initiate an action within the electronic marketplace on behalf of the user.

The alternative fulfillment qualification module determines whether the fulfillment delay qualifies for an alternative fulfillment order. The replacement matching module determines a replacement item for the item. The replacement item order module cancels the order and replaces the order with the alternative fulfillment order for the replacement item.

Abstract: A flexible shipping delivery system has an online marketplace interface, a client interface, a shipping carrier interface, and a flexible shipping delivery engine. The online marketplace interface communicates with an online marketplace application. The client interface communicates with a client that places an order for an item on the online marketplace application. The client interface receives a shipping delivery preference of a user of the client. The shipping carrier interface communicates with a shipping carrier server. The shipping carrier server provides a tracking shipping status of the item. The flexible shipping delivery engine adjusts a delivery option of the item based on the tracking shipping status of the item and the shipping delivery preference.
