  • Publication number: 20240059205
Abstract: A system for moving cargo includes an in-vehicle conveyor system mounted in a vehicle cargo space, the in-vehicle conveyor system comprising one or more rails. The rails may be mounted to walls, floor, or ceiling of the vehicle cargo space. The system also includes one or more cargo storage units attached to the in-vehicle conveyor system. Each of the one or more cargo storage units is secured to the rails such that the one or more cargo storage units are raised with respect to a floor of the vehicle cargo space and define a circuit as based on a travel path of the one or more cargo storage units. Upon instruction, the cargo storage units are movable along the circuit to move a specified cargo storage unit to a predetermined location.

  • Patent number: 9333879
Abstract: A latching system for a vehicle seat includes a latching component mountable on a vehicle seat component and a striker mountable on a vehicle structural component. The latching component includes a housing for mounting the latching component, a first bushing attached to the housing, the first bushing having a first guiding groove system, a second bushing having a second guiding groove system, the second bushing positioned over the first bushing, and a latch pin. The striker has a slot for engaging the latch pin. The latch pin includes a guide pin that is positioned within the second bushing such that the guide pin is positioned within the first guiding groove system and the second guiding groove system. Rotation of the outer bushing causes movement of the latch pin between an extended position and a retracted position via motion of the guide pin which engages a slot.

  • Publication number: 20140159451
Abstract: A vehicle seat assembly includes a seat cushion arrangement movable between non-extended and extended positions. A seat cushion frame supports a seat cushion and includes a link having a linearly-fixed first end pivotable about an axis of rotation, and a second end rotatable along an arcuate path having a center lying on the axis of rotation. The link is configured such that the second end moves upward for a least a portion of the arcuate path when the seat cushion arrangement is moved between the non-extended and extended positions, and a seat load acts to inhibit upward rotation of the link and maintain the seat cushion arrangement in its then current non-extended or extended position.

  • Patent number: 7161779
Abstract: An anti-pinch and electric motor protection device includes a positive temperature coefficient circuit protector having a predetermined temperature threshold and is adapted to be in electrical series with a DC circuit to allow current flow in a first direction and in a second opposite direction when the positive temperature coefficient circuit protector is below the threshold and to block current flow in either direction when the positive temperature coefficient circuit protector is above the threshold. A diode electrically in parallel with the positive temperature coefficient circuit protector is adapted to block current flow in one of the directions.

  • Publication number: 20050128660
Abstract: An anti-pinch and electrical motor protection device comprising at least one PTC circuit protection, a diode, and an electrical current. When an object becomes pinched in a device driven by a DC motor, the temperature within the motor increases. When the temperature exceeds the temperature the PTC circuit protector tuned to a low temperature can handle, it is tripped and the electrical current is bypassed through the diode until the PTC circuit protector tuned to a high temperature is tripped. Instant reverse motion of the motor is then available without having to wait for the motor to cool and reset, thereby releasing a pinched object with minimal damage and protecting and extending the life of the motor.
