  • Publication number: 20200232806
Abstract: A system for providing map data to a vehicle includes a map relative pose dependent server that is responsive to map requests from an API. The server generates submaps from static map data based on pose and/or route information for the vehicle, and sensors provide environmental data that is converted into perceived local map data by generating a perceived lane graph from lanes detected by the sensors. A multiplexer enables selection of the generated submaps and/or the perceived maps in response to a map request. The multiplexer compares the generated submaps and the perceived map in response to a map request and provides the perceived map when the generated submaps do not match the perceived map. The multiplexer also may merge the generated submaps and the perceived lane graph in response to the map request.

  • Patent number: 10657391
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for image-based free space detection. In one example embodiment, a computer-implemented method includes obtaining image data representing the environment proximate to the autonomous vehicle, the image data including a representation of the environment from a perspective associated with the autonomous vehicle. The method includes reprojecting the image data to generate a reprojected image. The method includes inputting the reprojected image to a machine-learned detector model. The method includes obtaining as an output of the machine-learned detector model, object data characterizing one or more objects in the environment. The method includes determining a free space in the environment based at least in part on the object data.

  • Patent number: 9240652
Abstract: A protection device for protecting a power cable connector includes one sensor, a separation mechanism and a processing unit. The sensor is for sensing a relative distance and a moving speed of an external object. The separation mechanism is connected to the power cable connector in a separable manner. The processing unit is electrically connected to the sensor for controlling the separation mechanism to separate from the power cable connector as the sensor senses that the relative distance is less than a separation distance and the moving speed is not zero.

  • Patent number: 9085213
Abstract: An automobile anti-roll device comprises a swing rod attached to the right and the left sides of the car that contain within a slide rod with a roller attached at the lower end. The invention further comprises push-pull rods with drive mechanism comprising a spring for driving the swing rod to swing; a pull hook for returning the push-pull rod back to its original position; a brake for restricting the sliding movement of push-pull rod; a spring for ejecting the swing rod outward; a brake for restricting the slide rod to retract; a pull hook for pulling the slide rod back to its original position; a load-bearing device attached to either the car frame or the swing rod for holding the slide rod. The invention includes a control sensor for detecting the right or left tilt angle of the car and coordinating the movement of the components of the device. The invention aims to provide an effectively preventive measure for car overturn with a simple and user-friendly structure.

  • Publication number: 20090306912
Abstract: A method of measuring LED junction temperature includes the steps of: (a) obtaining a temperature curve of an LED; (b) inputting at least one rated AC voltage to the LED; (c) measuring a temperature at a specific point on an outer packaging structure of the LED, putting the temperature measured at the specific point into the temperature curve, and calculating a junction temperature of the LED by interpolation; and (d) substituting the result from the calculation in the step (c) into a numerical analysis model to obtain temperature oscillation of the LED.
