    Abstract: The invention includes mainly a machine base, a carrier, a sliding control mechanism, a latch mechanism, a horizontal shifting mechanism, and a lifting mechanism. The FOUP (front-opening unified pod) is put on the carrier and latched by a locking plate of the latch at an accurate position. The carrier moves forwardly to tightly engage the FOUP to a gate on an access at a backboard of the machine base, and thus a cover of the FOUP is opened by a headstock gear at the back of the gate then carried backwardly away from the FOUP by the horizontal shifting mechanism and lowered by the lifting mechanism. Reversely, the cover is closed on the FOUP. As such, the cover is loaded and opened automatically, as well as in closed, which can be a part of automation and prevents wafers from contamination.

    Abstract: An electronic circuit has a DVD-ROM controller, an MPEG decoder and a single memory controller. The DVD-ROM controller controls a Disk drive loader to obtain encoded data from a removable media, such as a DVD disk or a VCD disk. The DVD-ROM controller also performs an ECC decoding process to obtain decoded data from the encoded data, and stores the decoded data in an external memory. The MPEG decoder decodes graphics data held in the external memory to generate video data and audio data. The memory controller provides read and write access to the external memory for both the DVD-ROM controller and the MPEG decoder. The MPEG decoder performs an MPEG decoding process on the decoded data held in the external memory to generate the video data.

    Abstract: A wafer loading system positioning method and device, comprising a loading system, having a base and a rear plate for docking on a positioning frame of a production equipment. The main characteristic thereof is that the loading system in an upper part of the rear plate has a holding seat and the positioning frame in an upper part of a front side has an upward extending positioning element. Two eccentric cams on the holding seat and the positioning element allow to adjust a relative position of the holding seat with respect to the positioning element. A lifting mechanism enables raising of the loading system for lifting said holding seat above said positioning element, so as to enable said holding seat to engage with said positioning element.

    Abstract: An apparatus in an ICE system is disclosed, which uses the buses connected to the ICE to access data from an external memory. The apparatus includes a first buffer, a second buffer, a higher-bit address bus, a lower-bit-address/data multiplexing bus, a lower-bit address bus, and a control unit. The first buffer transmits the signal of the higher-bit address bus of the ICE to the higher-bit address bus when the buffer enable signal is enabled. The second buffer transmits or receives the signal of the address/data multiplexing bus of the ICE to and from the lower-bit-address/data multiplexing bus when the buffer enable signal is enabled. The control unit receives control signals of the ICE and generates the buffer enable signal and the direction control signal. The buffer enable signal is enabled when an address-latch-enable signal of the ICE is enabled, and is disabled when a higher-bit address bus signal of the ICE does not fall within a predetermined range.

It includes a motor as a driving force to drive two pairs of spaced eccentric sprockets and a side-roller-chain, which engages with a pair of spaced sprockets. The side-roller-chain moves on a guide channel, which can be lifted upward, synchronously with the movement of the sprocket, thus enabling the article to be lifted upward and carried away laterally at a speed faster than the rotating speed of the sprocket.

    Abstract: A roller conveyor composed of a main body, several rollers, a roller's fixed block and a transmission device and is shaped as a rectangle or a circular arc. The two sides of the main body are preferably composed of an aluminum extrusion frame. The roller is fixed on the aluminum extrusion frame at the two sides of the main body by coupling with a pair of roller's fixed blocks, one being connected to a concave trough positioned on each side of the main body. The inner part of the roller includes a bearing stand of cup shape, a central shaft, an end cover, and a bearing of industrial use. On the outer surface, there is a concave trough for connection with a PU belt and a transmission device to turn and power the rollers. Also, another embodiment of the invention employs a leaning cone roller-type conveyor to make the roller comply with the circular arc shape and enable the conveyor to make a turn.

    Abstract: A multiple weighing apparatus with dual acting hopper gates mechanism comprises a feeding device conveying articles to be weighed and packed to a weighing section of the apparatus. The articles which are transferred into the weighing section are weighed and a portion of which having a desired weight is then allowed to move into a packing section to be packed therein. Each pack of the articles will have a desired weight. The weighing section comprises a plurality of pool hoppers and weighing hoppers controlled by a central controller. Each of the hoppers comprises a body having therein a space for receiving the articles and a discharge port closable by two gates. A Stephenson III type six-bar mechanism is adapted to operate the gates with the gates being the output links thereof. A pushing rod which is controlled by the central controller is used to move the input link of the six-bar mechanism to open the gates.
