  • Publication number: 20170223469
Abstract: A hearing aid communication system and a hearing aid communication method thereof are disclosed. The hearing aid communication method includes the following steps: determining whether the sound-providing apparatus is providing a digital signal; when the sound-providing apparatus is providing a digital signal, establishing a connection with the hearing aid; determining whether the digital signal has a sound signal; if the digital signal has the sound signal, further informing the hearing aid able to execute a streaming mode; receiving the digital signal to be transferred to the hearing aid; when the sound-providing apparatus has stopped providing the digital signal with a sound signal, notifying the hearing aid that it can stop executing the streaming mode; and when the sound-providing apparatus is not providing the digital signal, breaking the connection with the hearing aid.

  • Patent number: 9514765
Abstract: A method for reducing noise is used to divide a received voice into plural voice segments and set a predetermined energy value. The energy of voice segment which is higher than the predetermined energy value is determined as normal voice and outputs directly, and the energy of voice segment which is lower than the predetermined energy value is determined as noise and will be processed.

  • Patent number: 9494310
Abstract: A device with a waterproof function includes a case, an electrical module, at least one sealant and some liquid. The case includes 2 holes and 1 button, the electrical module is connected to the case, and at least one sealant is used to seal the holes of the case to form a closed space to contain the liquid. The liquid filled in the device is not only able to balance the inner and outer pressure of the device but is also used to allow a user smoothly to press the button of the waterproof device by being pressed to transmit pressure to one hole in the case and make the at least one sealant connected to the hole outwardly form the shape of a bulge.

  • Patent number: 9185497
Abstract: A method of processing a sound segment is used in a hearing aid. If the sound segment is a high-frequency type, the high-frequency portion of the sound segment will be processed with a frequency lowering process. If the sound segment is a mixed-frequency type (between high-frequency and low-frequency), the energy of at least some portion of the high-frequency portion of the sound segment will be decreased and then processed with a frequency lowering process.

  • Patent number: 8582792
Abstract: A method for enhancing the accuracy of sounds heard by a hearing-impaired listener is disclosed. The method for enhancing the accuracy of sounds heard by a hearing-impaired listener includes receiving an input sound, determining if it is necessary to modify the frequency of the input sound, and modifying the input sound into a modified input sound if necessary. The determination relies on the frequency and energy of the input sound. The ratio of the energy of lower frequencies of the modified input sound will be increased.
