  • Patent number: 9550380
Abstract: A device for processing media may include a system and method for loading and unloading consumable supplies of a media processing device, and more particularly, a system and method for providing a compact form factor media processing device which provides convenient access to the replaceable components of the media processing device. A media processing device may include a base and a lid hingedly attached to the base, moveable between a closed position in which the lid is secured to the base, and an open position. A cavity may be defined between the lid and the base, where the cavity is inaccessible when the lid is in the closed position and the cavity is accessible when the lid is in the open position. • Publication number: 20160208873
Abstract: A bicycle lining wear indication system includes a lining and a display device. The lining includes a back pate, a friction portion and a detection device. The detection device includes a detecting unit, an operation unit and a transmitting unit. The detecting unit detects a wear state of the friction portion after the friction portion contacts and rubs the disk of a wheel to produce a friction coefficient characteristic. The operation unit proceeds an operation on the friction coefficient characteristic to convert the friction coefficient characteristic into a digital value. The transmitting unit transmits the digital value to the display device to remind a rider of a wear extent of the friction portion. Thus, the detection device monitors and detects the wear extent of the friction portion so that the rider can replace the lining when the friction portion is worn out.

  • Patent number: 9274134
Abstract: A wheel assembly having a motor attached to a hub within the wheel assembly such that the motor powers the wheel assembly to rotate about an axle once the motor receives a predetermined amount of power. A battery system is configured to deliver power to said motor, the battery system is arranged to rotate with the wheel assembly. A sensor system within the wheel assembly that provides data to a control system related to velocity and angle of orientation of the assembly. A load transferring quick-release mechanism is also disclosed for coupling the wheel assembly to a vehicle wheel attachment frame member and a method is provided for calibrating the same.
