  • Patent number: 10315520
Abstract: An in-vehicle gateway system for monitoring and controlling a plurality of in-vehicle subsystems is disclosed. The in-vehicle gateway system includes a central controller and the central controller is configured to enable one of the in-vehicle subsystems to use a resource of another in-vehicle subsystem. The central controller is also configured to enable one in-vehicle subsystem to use data from yet another in-vehicle subsystem. The one in-vehicle subsystem may be a newly added in-vehicle subsystem. The in-vehicle gateway system also includes a switch fabric that is configured to interconnect the central controller to the plurality of the in-vehicle subsystems and transmit at least a unified control command to at least one of the in-vehicle subsystems.

  • Publication number: 20080080702
Abstract: A method, system, and computer-readable medium for calculating a minimum echo path delay are provided. An accurate calculation of a minimum echo path delay is made based on characteristics of the echo path. The minimum echo path delay calculation may be periodically repeated thus providing for dynamic calculation of the minimum echo path delay in a manner that accounts for variations in echo path characteristics. The minimum echo path delay may be calculated based on discrete processing latencies identified in the echo path, by a network round trip delay, or by modeling an acoustic echo of an in-band audio signal, performing a frequency analysis thereon to calculate a spectrum signature of the modeled acoustic echo, and monitoring a send path for a match with the modeled acoustic echo after applying an instance of the in-band audio signal into the echo path.

  • Patent number: 6829351
Abstract: Apparatus of facilitating circuit card replacement without down time, comprising a redundancy connector assembly having a first connector and a second connector, a redundant bus, and a first circuit card coupled to the first connector of the redundancy connector assembly. The first circuit card has a logic circuit and a switch operable to selectively couple and decouple the logic circuit to one of the first connector and the redundant bus. A second circuit card also has a logic circuit and a switch operable to selectively couple and decouple the logic circuit to the redundant bus. A bypass cable is used to couple the second connector of the redundancy connector assembly to the second circuit card during replacement of the first circuit card and routing signals destined for the first circuit card to the second circuit card.

  • Patent number: 4833671
Abstract: A multiplexer for multiplexing a plurality of relatively sparsely occupied DTDM bit streams into a single more densely occupied DTDM bit stream at the same bit rate is disclosed. The multiplexer comprises a plurality of line buffers for recognizing and queuing incoming DTDM frames and a central server unit for placing data from the incoming DTDM frames in the more densely occupied outgoing DTDM bit stream.
