  • Patent number: 6813165
Abstract: A set of fasteners is adapted to fasten a motherboard on a computer housing. The motherboard has a first side, a second side, and a fastener slot that extends through the first and second sides. Each of the fasteners includes a positioning member and a spring arm. The positioning member permits movement of the motherboard from an unlocking position, where a periphery of the fastener slot is disengaged from the positioning member, and a locking position, where the periphery of the fastener slot is engaged within a groove in the positioning member. The spring arm is connected to the positioning member so as to be adapted to abut against the motherboard to urge the motherboard to engage the positioning member when the motherboard is at the locking position.

  • Publication number: 20020101708
Abstract: A hard disk drive extracting and fixing device is disclosed. The hard disk drive extracting and fixing device mainly includes a body, a lock, a press cover, an outer plate, two elastic elements and an inner plate. The outer plate covers on the inner plate. Two plates are connected through a stud. A plurality of vents are formed on the plates. Two plates have a plurality of vents for heat dissipation. The outer plate is controlled by the press cover. After the press cover is pressed, one end of the outer plate will eject outwards. The ejected end of the outer plate serves as a pull rod and then the hard disk drive can be extracted out from the computer mainframe. Thereby, a hard disk drive extracting and fixing device is formed.

  • Patent number: 6351379
Abstract: The present invention proposes an extracting and positioning structure for a hard disk drive suitable to an industrial computer. In the present invention, two side frame boards to fix at least a hard disk drive are installed on a frame of a computer. Latticed partitioning plates are installed on the frame boards. The present invention has at least an extractable case with fixing bars installed at two sides thereof to fix a hard disk drive therein. A U-shaped plate is installed at each side of the front half section of the extractable case. Pivotal holes are respectively disposed at the top and bottom surfaces of the U-shape plate to pivotally connect a spindle protruding out of the top and bottom surfaces of a pivotal retaining element. A fixing shaft protruding out of the top and bottom surfaces at the other end of the pivotal retaining element. A slide lever is transversely arranged in the U-shaped plate at the front end of the extractable case.
