    Abstract: A space adjustment mechanism for a chair includes a seat base unit, a backrest sliding unit and an angular cross linking unit. The seat base unit has a body portion for accommodating an occupant sitting thereupon, and a shaft extending downward from the body portion. The backrest sliding unit has a backrest connected with a slidable rack which is slidably engaged with the body portion and formed with a pair of tubular sections. The angular cross linking unit has a first extending member for telescopically engaged with the shaft, and a pair of second extending members for telescopically engaged with the tubular sections. By this mechanism, when the first extending member is moving downward along the shaft, the backrest is driven to move backward for accommodating elder child, when the first extending member is moving upward, the backrest is driven to move forward for accommodating little child.

Further, a positioning mechanism is operatively mounted between the stroller frame and the seat for locking the seat at the selected height, and a one-hand release mechanism is operatively mounted on the seat for release of the seat from the selected height. The seat can he lowered to a height that a little child can sit into by herself, and lifted by an adult care-giver to a selected height for either traveling around to use as a stroller or to use as a high chair for feeding the little child.

    Abstract: A swing mechanism for an infant and child swing includes a swing arm, a swing angle adjustment assembly and a PWM motor driving unit. The swing arm is driven by a motor for swinging forth and back in a first direction and a second direction. The swing angle adjustment assembly includes a knob, a connecting arm and a sensor, wherein the knob is associated with the sensor by the connecting arm thereby moving the sensor to a reference point at a swing height of the infant and child swing by turning the knob. The PWM motor driving unit inputs an adjustable voltage to the motor for driving the swing arm, and interrupting the adjustable voltage thereafter when the swing arm arrived the reference point in the first direction. A method for controlling the infant and child swing uses the swing mechanism as described above.

    Abstract: A spill-proof training cup includes a lid with a passage housing a valve. The valve has a valve plane parallel to or forming a selected angle with the passage. The valve plane has a port and a stopping flap attached outside the port to block the port and stop liquid from flowing out. When the cup is sucked on, a pressure difference is generated to overcome the blocking force of the stopping flap and a gap is generated between the stopping flap and the port so that the liquid contained in the cup body may pass through the port. The port and the passage form an angle so that when the training cup is inverted, the liquid contained in the cup does not directly hit the stopping flap and the barrier plane of the valve can block the liquid so that the liquid does not flow out improperly.

    Abstract: A safety brake device for a stroller is disclosed. The brake device will automatically preclude the movement of the stroller when the user releases the brake handle. The brake handle is movably mounted to the stroller for being pushed down during manual propulsion of the stroller. A pulling wire connects to the brake handle for operating a brake assembly incorporating with the wheels. The brake handle is movable between a first and a second positions. In the first position without being handled by the user, the brake assembly precludes the rotation of the wheels. In the second position where the brake handle is pushed down by the user, the pulling wire actuates the brake assembly to release the brake and enables rotation of the wheels. When the user leaves the stroller, the brake handle retrieves to the first position, then the wheels are braked and precluded from rotation.
